How to Complete the 12 Volt Trailer Wiring Circuit of a 2005 GMC Yukon
Published 02/19/2015 >
Question:
I dont get constant power to 7 way plug. I thought I read there is a wire under hood that needs to be connected. Do you have any idea where this wire would be located? Where to connect? I have a 2005 GMC Yukon. Could you show a picture? Thank you

There is a wire under the hood of your 2005 GMC Yukon that needs to be connected so that the 12 volt accessory circuit is complete on your 7-way. If you check out the help article I attached you will see exactly how to do this.
You will also need to install a 40 amp fuse in the fuse box as well to complete the circuit. If you check out the picture I attached you will see a red square over where the fuse will need to be installed into and where the wire gets connected.
