Question:
I just bought an older frehauf trailer and I want to change bearings ,races, and seals. The number on the outer cone is Timken 15123. What kit do I need?

You will most likely need the Bearing Kit, 15123/ 25580 Bearings, 10-36 Seal, item # BK3-100, or Bearing Kit, 15123/25580 Bearings,10-10 Seal, item # BK3-110 for your replacement parts, since your outer bearing is a Timken 15123.
Races for the these bearings are the # 15245 Race, for 15123 Bearing, and the # 28521, Race, for 28580 Bearing.
The only way to really tell which bearings, races and seals you need for sure is to remove the hub and record all of the part numbers you can find. The difference in the two kits mentioned above is only the inner diameter of the seal, which is 2-1/4 inches for the 10-36 seal and 2-1/8 inches for the 10-10 seal. If you cannot find the part number on the seal you will need to measure the diameter of the seal surface on the spindle.
If you would like to let me know the part numbers from you existing inner bearing and grease seal I will be glad to cross reference the correct parts and make a recommendation for you.
