I would be happy to help!
The Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow Twist-Mount 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector - Vehicle End # HM40920 would only fit your 2010 Chevrolet Express Van 3500 if it has the factory towing package with a factory 7-way connector. With that said your Van does not use a twist style mount from the factory, and would instead need the # HM40975.
In either case, these connectors are just a replacement for the factory 7-way. If your van does not have a factory 7-way installed then it likely does not have the factory tow package.
For a van without the factory tow package you can still install a 7-way connector, but it require a few different components. First you will need a 4-way connector # 118392 which will plug into your tail lights, and then a 7-way connector # ETBC7. Your newly installed 4-way connector will plug directly into this 7-way connector and you will just need to make a few more connections. The black wire will get run to the positive terminal of your battery with the included 40 amp circuit breaker, the white wire will get grounded to the frame, and the blue wire will get run underneath the dash where a trailer brake controller will get installed. If you are not needing a trailer brake controller at this time I still recommend running the blue wire underneath the dash and just bundling it up that way if you need to add one in the future it is already there.
Lastly if you are needing a trailer brake controller I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 as it is an extremely reliable controller with great features like an easy to read LCD screen and built in diagnostics that are easy to read and understand.
I included installation videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
