The PK54520 circuit breaker appears to be a quality product and was simple to install. I hope I never need it to function.

The same product was 3x the price at the local trailer supply establishment.

Thanks
Rick

by:

I supposedly need this for wiring in my brake controller, so I guess I'm glad I got it.

by:

Great service

by:

etrailer.com has been an easy company to work with. They were helpful in making sure we had what we needed to install our trailer hitch successfully. Thank you for your help. We have recommended you to friends and family and will continue to do business with you in the future.

Great

by:

Shipped quickly , and was of good quality. Also customer service was very knowledgeable about the products, and very helpful.

by:

connectors and breakers to hook up my brake controller arrived in order, installed easily, and lasted 1 year so far...

by:

Got two of these for rewiring my truck and trailer. These were the best priced I found-even cheaper than the non-auto versions available locally. The shipping was reasonable and delivery time was good.

I was very satisfied and will return for additional items as needed.

by:

This circuit breaker for electric trailer brakes is working fine after a year's use. No complaints. Good reputable company to deal with.

by:

I purchased the 20 amp CB to go with the Prodigy RF brake controller. This is due to their warning and caution in the installation manual.

by:

I Haven't installed yet but the customer service with etrailer is great, they continued to help when I made an error on my order

by:

I got exactly what I ordered. Just make sure, if you order the fuse box to get the fuses without brackets. A rotary grinder made quick work of the brackets and they fit perfect in the fuse box

by:

Easy to install inline for the brake controller.

by:

The product is exactly what I expected, I haven't installed it yet.

I will testify that this site is the real deal. Not only did they have the best price for what I wanted but it was delivered to my door at a lower cost than I could have purchased it for locally and it arrived in a timely fashion. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from this site again if the price is competative for what I'm looking for. I don't live close to any stores so it's most convienent to have it delivered rather than taking the time or expense to go get it. Their service and technical advice is excellant, that's an added bonus.

by:

Fast shipping and good quality parts for a fair price. Thank you.

by:

Simple, reliable, does what it should. A good value.

by:

Does the job for good price just convenient to have all parts arrive before install and not chase for parts.

by:

product arrived in timely manner and as expected. Haven't used them yet, so no input on performance.

by:

I've used 2 of them and they work remarkably well. Good quality and quick delivery.

by:

Worked out perfectly.

by:

Another easy install and wiring would buy again for additional projects.

by:

In service 1 year. No issues.

by:

Parts was as it should be, worked fine when installed, fast delivery,

by:

Haven't installed it yet, looks good

by:

Quality built product, does exactly what it needs to.

  • Where are Circuit Breakers/Fuses Installed on Lippert Electric Stabilizer Jacks
The Lippert stabilizer jacks like you have use an 6 amp auto reset circuit breaker and a 20 amp fuse or breaker. If you check out the diagram I attached you'll see how it normally would be wired. For a 20 amp breaker you'd need the part # PK54520 and for a 6 amp breaker part # LC134181. If somehow the motors are bad they are part number # LC138445.

  • Brake Controller Recommendation for a Truck with Air Brakes and a Trailer with Electric Brakes
The trailer brakes work on a separate circuit than the lights. You have a couple of options to control the electric brakes on the trailer. One option is to use an air over electric brake control, # HA100400C. This unit connects to the air brakes on the truck and when the brakes are applied it sends an electric signal back to the trailer brakes. The other option, and what I would do, is to use an electric brake controller like # 90885. For either of these controllers, the red wire attaches...

We have instructions and a video that I have linked below for you. From the Brake controller here are your connections. White wire to negative battery post. Black wire through a 20-amp circuit breaker, item # PK54520 (included in kit), to the positive battery post. Red wire to the stop light switch wire behind the brake pedal, use a circuit tester,...

The parts needed and steps taken to install a brake controller, like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195, on your 2016 Honda Odyssey will really depend on what they are wiring for your 7-Way. If they have wired all of the functions then you will simply need to connect the 4 wires from the pigtail on the P3 to the following functions: White - Ground (negative terminal on battery) Red - COLD side of Stop Light Switch (wire that gets hot only when brake pedal is pressed) Black - 12V Power (positive...

For your Prodigy P3 # 90195 on your 2011 Chevy Traverse, if you have the factory 7-way then you just need wiring harness # 3026-P. If you don't have that then we recommend using the # ETBC7 kit that will have you hardwire from the battery using a circuit breaker. The circuit breaker used for the brake controller power is a 20 amp like # PK54520. • Troubleshooting No Power to Prodigy P2 Brake Controller Installed in 2012 Dodge Journey
It sounds like your Prodigy P2 trailer brake controller # 90885 may not be getting the 12V operating power from the Journey's battery. With a hardwired type of installation this input power is routed from the battery positive terminal through a circuit breaker and on to the controller's black power wire. The first thing is it is possible the motor is going bad and drawing more amps to raise and lower which is causing the circuit breaker to trip and reset.
