  • S-Hooks
  • 1-1/8 - 2 Inch Wide
  • 2001 - 3500 lbs

Securing large, heavy cargo is quick and hassle-free with these ratcheting tie-downs that permanently bolt onto your trailer. Heavy-duty straps have a quick-release, self-retracting design for super-simple loading and unloading. 3,500 lbs Max load.

Features:

  • Heavy-duty, bolt-on tie-downs let you secure cargo in your truck bed or trailer
    • Permanently mount to a flat surface with included hardware
  • Self-retracting straps automatically wind up into the built-in housings
    • Maintains constant tension on straps for minimal ratcheting when tightening straps down
    • Keeps straps neatly stowed when they're not in use
  • Ratchet mechanisms make it easy to tighten down straps and maintain tension on straps
    • Wide, rubber-coated SUR-Grip handles are easy to hold and easy to operate with 1 hand
    • Dual safety locks ensure that each ratchet arm stays in open or closed position
  • Push-to-release levers quickly and easily loosen straps when you're ready to unload
  • Vinyl-coated steel S-hooks help protect your cargo from scuffs and scratches
  • Durable construction offers long-lasting performance
    • Corrosion-resistant steel body
    • Seat-belt-quality polyester webbing
    • Sturdy plastic housing and stainless steel spring

Specs:

  • Strap dimensions: 2" wide x 6' long
  • Safe working load limit (WLL): 1,167 lbs
  • Maximum load (break strength): 3,500 lbs
  • Mounting bolt dimensions: 3/8" diameter x 1-3/4" long
  • Quantity: 2 ratchet straps
  • 1-Year limited warranty

Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

CargoBuckle G3 Retractable, Bolt-On Tie-Downs

CargoBuckle's third-generation tie-down straps bolt to your trailer and simplify the securing and unloading of your cargo. They have a self-retracting design, so there is constant tension on the strap and minimal ratcheting is required to secure your load. Dual safety locks keep the ratchet arm in the open or closed position, so the ratchet will not accidentally loosen or tighten up.

Instead of always having to find and store tie-down straps that hook to the anchor points on your trailer, you'll always find CargoBuckle straps right where you need them. Just pull up on the hook and strap, attach the hook to your cargo, and then operate the ratchet a few times. No more searching for a tie-down strap or dealing with extra webbing that flaps in the wind. And when you're ready to unload, simply push the release lever on the ratchet, free the hook from your cargo, and let the strap retract back down into the ratchet housing.

Using the included hardware, you can permanently mount the 2" wide ratchet straps to any flat surface. Or you can incorporate various adapters (sold separately) to use the tie-downs as either standard straps with S-hooks or as E-track straps. Angled brackets (sold separately) let you mount the straps at a 45-degree angle so that they are easier to access.

  • Do the ShockStrap Shock Absorbing Tie-Down Straps Come in a Retractable Style?
The ShockStrap Ratcheting Tie-Down Straps w Built-in Shock Absorbers - 1-1/2" x 7' - 1K - Qty 2 # 297-7RSDB are not available in the retractable style. This is simply because the shock absorbing element wouldn't be able to be retracted to the spring loaded coil. The manufacturer doesn't make a semi-retractable option at this time. If you would like a retractable strap instead of the shock absorber, then I recommend the Erickson Re-Tractable Ratchet Straps w/ Push Button Releases -...

  • Highest Capacity Ratchet Straps for a Boat Trailer
Hey George! Our highest capacity straps are going to top out at 1,167 lbs apiece. They're sold in pairs so using all four of them will definitely handle the weight of your 20 Center Console boat. One of the pairs is a bolt on style and the other is your traditional ratchet strap with s hooks at either end I have listed below: Bolt On - CargoBuckle G3 Retractable Ratchet Tie-Down Straps item # IMF18800 Standard - CargoBuckle G3 Retractable Ratchet Straps w/ S-Hooks item # IMF18800-86

  • What Size Ratchet Strap Hooks Fit Into The Hole On CargoAnchor Brackets?
Devon, good question. The anchor holes in both the angle and multi-mount brackets are designed to fit standard S-hooks or J-hooks, and they work perfectly with the CargoBuckle G3’s # IMF18800 built-in hooks. The hole diameter of the anchor brackets in # CB99GR and # CB49GR are about 3/4", so if you're using a different brand of hook, just double-check your dimensions to ensure a good fit. I bet you could also install different accessories like an LED light pod or something if you wanted...

  • Adjustable Trailer Tie Down Straps And Anchors For Hauling Golfcart
You sure can, Darren. The CargoBuckle CargoAnchor Tie Down Kit # CB49GR has vertical Multi Mounts that are a great fit for awkwardly shaped loads like golf carts, especially with add-ons like rear seats or cargo boxes. The six-hole design lets you place the CargoBuckle G3 straps at different heights to avoid rubbing against body panels or the seat. Do you need to haul both carts at the same time? If so, you may need to add 2 more of the retractable G3 straps # IMF18800.

  • How Long Are Straps In CargoAnchor Trailer Tie Down Kits? Can Strap Be Replaced?
The straps in the CargoAnchor kits like # CB99GR, and # CB49GR, and # CB69GR are 6 feet long and 2 inches wide, and they’re part of the CargoBuckle G3 line. You can absolutely replace them if needed, just use the # IMF18800 straps, which match the specs and mounting style exactly. And while you're right saying the brackets will likely outlast the straps, the straps are very durable and retract inside the housing to stay out of the sun and direct elements which is nice.

  • Difference Between the CargoBuckle G3 Retractable Straps IMF18800 & IMF18800-77
Hey JC, I checked and yes, the only difference between the CargoBuckle G3 Retractable Ratchet Tie-Down Straps # IMF18800 & # IMF18800-77 is that # IMF18800-77 comes with that 45 degree angled bracket and # IMF18800 does not. Other than that, they are the exact same straps, with the exact same dimensions and load ratings. If there is anything else I can do for you, please feel free to drop a comment and let me know!

  • Can CargoBuckle Straps In CargoAnchor Trailer Tie Down Kit Secure A Motorcycle?
Angela, that’s a great question. The CargoBuckle G3 # IMF18800 straps are 2inch wide and retract slowly and evenly, so they’re ideal for securing bikes. If you’re worried about scratching chrome or paint, you might want to add soft loop extensions like 2 of the etrailer Motorcycle Tie-Down Loop Strap # e74BR to wrap around handlebars or frames, then hook the ratchet strap to those. And the retractable housing means no loose ends around tires or wheels. I have 4 of the etrailer loop straps...

  • Can CargoAnchor Kit With CargoBuckle Straps Attach To Car Hauler Without Angle Iron Side Rails?
Ty, if you had angle irons then it would work, but if there’s nothing to attach the angle or multi mounts to, the CargoAnchor kits # CB99GR or # CB49GR won’t be ideal. In that case, you might look at a bolt-on D-ring # RR6K-4 setup or stake pocket setup # PK-SPTD paired with the same CargoBuckle G3 straps # IMF18800, same strength, more mounting flexibility. If you don't need to move it and you're fine with a more permanent solution, the CargoBuckle G3 Straps # IMF18800 come with a...

  • Can CargoBuckle G3 Straps In CargoAnchor Kit Be Used For Hauling Zero Turn Mower?
Hey Daniel, absolutely! These CargoBuckle G3 Retractable Ratchet Tie-Down Straps # IMF18800 straps are beasts. They’re rated for a 1,167 lb working load and a 3,500 lb break strength. Plenty of capacity to handle a zero-turn, UTV, or other equipment. We've had customers used these for a Kubota RTV and they held like a rock. The retractable design is also way nicer than dealing with loose strap ends flapping around. These straps are the ones that are included in the following kits as well: -CargoAnchor...

Yep, they sure do! These G3s # IMF18800 that come with the CargoAnchor Kit (w/ 2 Angle, 2 Multi Mounts & 2 CargoBuckle Straps) # CB69GR are fully retractable, so when you release the ratchet, the strap coils neatly back into the housing. No wrapping or tying needed. It’s one of the things users love most; makes setup and cleanup a lot faster. Thanks for reaching out, Kristen. When selecting boat tie-downs, you want to be sure the max load rating of the strap is greater than the weight of the trailer. For you I recommend the CargoBuckle G3 Retractable Ratchet Tie-Down Straps # IMF18800 which are rated for a 3,500 lb max load so more than enough for your 2,000 lb trailer. It’s a great move if you want more flexibility or need to secure cargo from multiple angles. What do you plan to haul on your new 5' by 10' trailer? Congrats on the new trailer btw. :)

  • Adjustable Trailer Tie Down Brackets And Retractable Straps Options
Absolutely, Nina, that’s one of the biggest perks of the # CB49GR kit. Each Multi Mount bracket has six vertical mounting holes, so you can install the CargoBuckle G3 straps at different heights depending on your cargo. That’s super handy if you’re strapping down odd-sized items like yard equipment or tall loads where a low anchor point would pull awkwardly. There's actually 3 holes per tab, so you can install a second strap on each side, for a total of 4 straps. For this setup you'd need...

  • How to Pick the Correct Transom Straps For a 9,000 lb. Boat and 2,500 lb. Trailer
When choosing transom tie-downs you will want to choose a tie-down with a break strength that exceeds the weight of the lightest object. So in your instance, you will want a strap that exceeds the 2,500 lbs. that your trailer weighs. This is to ensure that the boat does not jump off of the trailer if you run over bumps or potholes. The G3 straps have a safe working load limit (WLL) of 1,167 lbs which will be enough for your 5,000 lbs boat since it will be resting on the trailer. The break strength rating is 3,500 lbs. We have a video review of the CargoBuckle G3 Retractable, Ratcheting Tie-Down Straps, # IMF18800, and I have linked it for you. Installation is straight forward. The straps have a mounting hole on the base and include nuts, bolts, and washers. • Will Drilling Hole In Trailer To Mount CargoBuckle G3 IMF8800 Weaken Trailer?
The CargoBuckle G3 Retractable Ratchet Tie-Down Straps - Bolt On - 2" x 6' - 1,167 lbs - Qty 2 # IMF18800 you were looking at uses a 3/8" bolt to secure the strap to your trailer. This will not weaken the frame of the trailer given you drill the 3/8" hole directly in the center of the material on the trailer. You will want to make sure you are not drilling the hole right on the edge. I included a video of the # IMF18800 for you to take a look at.
