How long are the straps, and are they replaceable? I imagine the straps will get weathered eventually, moreso than the brackets.

The straps in the CargoAnchor kits like # CB99GR, and # CB49GR, and # CB69GR are 6 feet long and 2 inches wide, and they’re part of the CargoBuckle G3 line. You can absolutely replace them if needed, just use the # IMF18800 straps, which match the specs and mounting style exactly.
And while you're right saying the brackets will likely outlast the straps, the straps are very durable and retract inside the housing to stay out of the sun and direct elements which is nice.
