This Erickson ladder rack extends over the roof of your truck to maximize your carrying capacity. It has integrated side rails for load support and for tying down your gear. The extra coverage allows you to carry longer loads without having to worry about overhang. And the added surface area for cargo helps to evenly distribute load weight.
Sturdy, user-friendly clamps let you mount this rack to your truck bed without drilling or other modifications. Simply position the bases at the corners of the truck bed and clamp them to lips of the truck bed rails. Assemble the upper portion of the rack and attach it to the uprights, then bolt the uprights to the bases. The rack can be installed on short-bed or long-bed trucks.
There are holes in each bed rail clamp that allow you to permanently bolt the rack to your truck bed. Permanent installation will require drilling. Hardware not included.
If you are installing the rack on a truck bed without a bed liner, the bolts for the mounting clamps may cause interference when installing a toolbox. To install a toolbox on a truck bed without a bed liner, trimming of the clamp bolts may be necessary for the toolbox to sit flush on your truck's bed rails.
The ladder rack has integrated side rails that provide load support and multiple tie-down points for securing your cargo. A moveable crossbar in the over-the-cab extension helps provide extra support for the front end of a load. There is a convenient tie-down cleat on each of the rack's 4 vertical uprights to provide additional anchoring points for your truck's load. There is also a handle on each side of the rack at the rear to provide additional leverage and support for easier loading and for accessing that hard-to-reach cargo.
Steel is highly durable, maintains structural integrity, and does not age or decay as quickly as other materials. A black powder coat finish has been added to help resist corrosion, chips, and scratches, and to keep the rack looking new. The nuts and bolts have a yellow chromate plating that helps prevent corrosion.

This is a good ladder rack. It is affordable, easy to assemble and seems to be quite strong.
Used it for mounting roof top tent onto utility trailer.
Also used to attached water jugs, propane tank, water tank, cree lights, etc.
Also used to carry kayak and atv.
Rack is high enough from trailer to carry atv and still carry tent on top.
Great value full size ladder rack. Very impressed with the quality and how durable the steel frame is. 1-year in, haven't had any issues with rusting or loose bolts, which is what I have experience in the past from similar racks. Would highly recommend if you need a full-size ladder rack for a small to mid-size truck.
Easy assembly and installation I had to modify the J-bolts or buy different ones for my bed, but they were readily available at the hardware store.
I use it for hauling lumber, steel, kayaks. It has been a terrific addition to my truck.

Awesome product, works great and high q uality
This ladder rack has been great. Very sturdy construction, easy to put together, no issues with rusting, so the coating is holding up well. The only small issue we had with it is that it seems to sag in the middle where the front and the back join just a little bit. We can't quite seem to get it level. It's very possible that is due to how we put it together, but we can't quite seem to fix it. It wouldn't matter much except that we are hauling boats and having the cross bars be level with each other would be helpful.

Still a great product! Has held up really well. Weve taken it off and put it back on multiple times. It takes 2 people to lift it off, but is extremely easy. Definitely a great product
This is a quality built rack, fit precisely with little effort, will buy again when needed.
The kit came timely, assembled easily and adjusted to my pickup with no issues. This is a sturdy product and I expect to get years of service from it.
Very easy to put together, seems sturdy and well made.

This rack exceeded my expectations. The quality is second to none. Installation was quick and if required, removal is even quicker. Adding this rack to my Nissan Frontier has given me much more functionality and increased capability.

Sturdy ladder rack.
Easier to have 2-3 people assembling the ladder rack as opposed to 1 person.
Only issue is the rear top bolt may occasionally come loose, but that may be an error on my end.
5/5 star ladder rack.
Love the product, fits just about any truck and is easy to take off. The only thing I didn't like was the assembly instructions. Very hard to read and understand what went where.

Works great. The Erickson ladder rack works great for my business. The only issue was understanding how to put it together, but once that was figured out I’ve had no problems with it.
Fits my 2012 Nissan Frontier perfectly! I did have to remove the utilitrack system in order for the J hooks to install properly, but that’s a small sacrifice in order to have rack up top!
We have 2 of this item on our trucks and they have been awesome! This has been an excellent product, build right and does what it is suppose to do... They are still looking as good as the day we installed them on our trucks... We will order more as the time comes that we need them! The company had lots of farther up emails along the way of ordering and after the product was installed. Great company to do business with.....
After owning it for a year I would highly recommend getting a single piece ladder rack. For the money this isn't worth it, it rusts at all welds and doesn't line up correctly. Spend the time and money on a one piece.
Fits my 71 C10 great. Looks good and can carry everything I need. Best looking rack out there in my opinion
Easy assembly, heavy duty, and just a good product
Paint falling off rack in multiple area. Use is in the mountains, not due to roas salt.

You mentioned that the paint was falling off in places. I recommend using a rust resistant paint such as Rustoleum to touch up the rack.

The process with etrailer was very easy and I received the items quickly. I've had the ladder rack for about a year. The rack has helped out and has save me a lot of money on delivery fees for 16'-20' length materials. I've had this thing loaded down and it worked great. I travel about an hour to the job site each day and do a lot of highway driving. Around town there isn't any difference but, on the highway, the rack adds a lot of noise which is expected. No complaints there but, just so you're aware. I think the only con I have is after about 6 months, I started to notice rusting around the welds and bolt holes. After about a year I am noticing more but, it appears to just be on the very surface so I don't see where it will affect the integrity of the load allowance. I'll probably end up getting an outdoor spray covering to spray over the rust spots after I sand them down before winter. One workaround that I had to do while installing the rack was in regards to my toolbox that goes across the front of the bed. I had to drill thru the inside of the toolbox so the bolts would slide thru. All in all this product has been worth every penny and, for me, paid for itself after about 3 months. I'd recommend it.
Great rack! Strong! Installs pretty easy, might need one other person (I did it by myself).

Great! I mostly use it for kayaks now that Ive retired. The only downside ive noticed is the noise from the turbulence when the rack isnt loaded.
