Today we're going to be taking a look at part number CAM55310. This is a Camco RV Power Defender Voltage Analyzer. The voltage analyzer is going to help protect your RV from improperly wired electrical boxes and power surges. Here at the top, it's got three diagnostic lights that are going to indicate faults before you connect your 30-amp electrical cord. It's also going to feature integrated surge protection that's going to provide extra security. It's got a weather-resistant design so it's going to be a really good protector when it comes to protecting the electrical components. That's got these ridges that run along the housing right there that so you can get your fingers on there, get a nice, secure grip. It's going to make plugging in and disconnecting from the receptacle very quick and easy. These lights are going to light up in different patterns, so whatever indicators are lit you're going to match that up with the code reader down here.
This is your chart. It's going to show you what the lights mean and how they're reading. The first one means that everything is correct. It says, "Correct Wiring". The next one says, "Open Ground", then it says, "Reverse Polarity".
This is "Open Hot", "Open Neutral", "Hot and Ground Reverse", "Hot on Neutral with Hot Open". It's got all these indicators here that are going to show you exactly what you're getting ready to plug your power cord into. Again, you can plug this into the 30-amp circuit or receptacle and then you can actually leave it connected once you find out that it's all good and ready to go and wired correctly; then you can plug in your 30-amp electrical cord directly into this and use it as a surge protection. The overall dimensions of the unit, it's not very big at all. It fits in the palm of your hand. It's going to give us an overall length of about 4-1/4" and overall width of about 2-1/4" and then an overall depth of about 3.5" including the brass contacts here. It can easily be stored inside the compartment and always keep close at hand, that way it's always ready to be used. That's going to do it for our review of part number CAM55310.

We have only used this once because we have had our trailer only one year and we usually boondock. It worked perfectly and takes up very little space for something we use just occasionaly.

Arrived promptly and looks great. I’ll use it any time t hook my fwc Hawk up to shore power to check out the power pedestal and protect my electronics.

This has worked out well for us. It was brought home to us how important this surge protector is at one of our camping trips last year. There was a power surge at the campground and quite a few people had things burn out. Not us!!

All items arrived a day earlier than expected! The Camco Circuit Analyzer was less expensive than the dealer and replaced my original that did what it was designed for and saved my electrical system. The mirrors fit like OEM parts and the propane hoses are of better quality than OEM.

I ended up giving it to my sister as I bought another unit - power management, not just surge suppressor. Not sure how to evaluate. Unless there is a spike and others around me fried and I did not, not sure how I know it works. Mostly an insurance policy.
I've had this item for well over a year. The hardest test I put it through was nearly 10 degrees F. It performed flawlessly. I'm glad we bought it.
The package you sent was buried under a lot of other packages and had been opened or crushed or maybe both. But, both things I ordered were in good shape and the convererter has been installed.
This was probably my fault when I first ordered because I assumed you would be shipping UPS or Fed Ex and through theUSPS. I intercepted it at the post office before it was shipped back to you. We get no mail delivery at our house.
Haven't been able to use.

Surge protector works as advertised , been through several lightning and thunderstorms without any problems.
