The Camco RV Power Defender Voltage Analyzer # CAM55310 will offer 1,050 joules of surge protection. It will not give any indication if a surge has occurred but rather will trip the breaker in the panel upline from the unit. If that breaker is reset, power will still come through the Defender and you'll get the lighting codes for any issues that could have resulted from the surge.
