The Camco RV Power Defender Voltage Analyzer # CAM55310 referenced in your question does indeed feature a weather-resistant housing that will protect it from the elements.
This voltage analyzer will plug into a 30-amp receptacle at an RV park to test for improper wiring. The diagnostic lights on the unit will indicate any faults before you actually connect your electrical cord, protecting your RV. I have attached a short video demonstration on this product that you can also check out.
