Power Cord Options for 30 Amp Twist Lock Connector on Travel Trailer

Me: 2022 Rockwood mini lite 2205s has a ?Conntek 30A locking L5-30 power inlet Photos 1, 2, 3. Came with cord photos 4, 5 that does not turn and lock like it should, too long/more out than in photo 6, and locking ring is slighty too small and ring threads dont match inlet - cant screw it in so photo 7. Result: Cant secure cord in place, hangs at an angle and leaves everything exposed to weather. Will Mighty Cord RV Power Cord - 30 Amps - 25foot Long Item # A10-3025EDBK fit/work? Which power extension cord can be used if I need more length? Cost is not my issue. Needing a solid connection is my issue. I really dont want to replace the inlet. However, your expert advice is my game plan. Thank you for your help.

Yes, the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord - 30 Amps - 25' Long # A10-3025EDBK will work great for your application. It doesn't have the fancy fault lights that your current wiring does so you might consider using something like the Camco RV Power Defender Circuit Analyzer # CAM55310 as well which helps check for faults.
You can use an extension like the Mighty Cord # A10-3025EH but I wouldn't go above this additional 25' of cord. If you anticipate needing more than that 25' of that initial connector then it might be a good choice to just get a longer cord and use that. If you were to go this route I recommend using the Power Adapter # A10-3030D90VP directly to your trailer and then the 50' Extension # A10-3050EH to go to the pedestal.
