So if you plug this into an outlet and something other than the two yellow lights come on, does that mean dont use the plug or does this correct the problems?

The Camco RV Power Defender Circuit Analyzer Dogbone # CAM55313 will tell you if the power outlet at an RV park is wired properly to prevent damage to the connected RV's electrics, but it does not correct for any mis-wired outlets. It is a warning device only.
My contact at Camco confirmed that when three of the four LED indicator lights are lit yellow on the main body of the unit the outlet is wired correctly.
They also offer a similar unit, their Power Defender Voltage Analyzer # CAM55310. This also checks for proper outlet wiring but also includes a high/low voltage protection system that shuts down the unit's output if voltage falls outside of the safe range.
