Quickly and easily stabilize your unhitched gooseneck trailer with this heavy-duty steel tripod. Adjustable-height ball makes setup a snap.

Features:

  • Tripod holds your parked gooseneck trailer steady at the coupler
    • Also works with 5th-wheel trailers that use the Andersen Ultimate Connection system
    • Helps to eliminate front-to-back and side-to-side motion of unhitched trailer or RV
  • Threaded support at base of hitch ball lets you fine-tune height adjustment
    • Turn the handle counterclockwise to raise ball, clockwise to lower it
  • Collapsible design
    • Handles fold down once desired height is reached
    • Tripod folds up for storage
  • Large footplates help to prevent sinking and tilting
  • Heavy-duty steel construction

Specs:

  • Support capacity: 5,000 lbs
  • Height: 31" - 54"
  • Footplate dimensions: 5" wide x 5-1/2" long
  • Weight: 24 lbs
  • Limited lifetime warranty

After unhitching your gooseneck trailer, steady it with the Ultra-Fab tripod stabilizer. Simply position the tripod beneath your trailer's coupler and release the chain that holds the stabilizer hitch ball in place. The hitch ball will rise into the gooseneck coupler. Reattach the chain by hooking a bottom link around the bracket on the tripod leg. Now use the handle at the base of the hitch ball to fine-tune the height of the stabilizer. Turn counterclockwise until the coupling is complete.

by:

light wieght yet sturdy, easy to use and easy to store

by:

Box damaged. Might have been a return. Bolts loose and retainer clips missing on two out of three. I will drill pin ends for hairpin clips . Not happy.

by:

We do enjoy our trailer equipment and feel safer having it for support. Thank You

by:

Excellent well made products. Fast serv ice..

by:

Looks well built but I thought it was a bit flimsy for the price. Once its under the jack with some tension on it its working but when you pull it out of the box its pretty floppy.

by:

Thanks for the fast service. Items are just like described.

by:

Product was as advertised. I used it once just to try it , seems to take most of movement out of camper. I think this product is worth the cost and believe it will last for years. Thank you etrailer for your support and quick shipment

by:

Great product, using it for a 36" travel trailer. Takes 90% of the shake out!

by:

All that left to do was tighten the bolts in the assembly and set it up and the stabilization was done. There was residual oil on all parts and required a wipe down.
This unit is light weight and effective.

by:

Works great for our application. We have a Gen-Y Gooseneck pinbox. Ours sits fairly low to the ground but this is able to adjust down far enough to stabilize it while we're parked for an extended amount of time.

by:

Package arrived on time. Setup was easy. Did help with the front of the 5th wheel moving.

by:

After changing my 5th wheel trailer to Gooseneck I could no longer use the my old one. This one is great. Doing a better job of than the one I had with the Reese hitch setup. Very Happy with it.

@Chiles Great! Glad to hear your jack is still holding up. Come back anytime you need anything.

I chose the product to use with an Andersen Ultimate kingpin adapter and found that the depth of the adapter is slightly more than expected. This causes the stabilizer ball mechanism to rub against the bottom. Despite the mismatch for the desired usage, the stabilizer is well constructed and easy to use. I plant to adapt it to better fit my selected hitch.

by:

Got this to work with the Anderson Hitch Ultimate Fifth Wheel Connection and it works perfect! Would highly recommend this product if you have the Anderson hitch.

by:

Received stand, good shipping time and communication on the shipping , easy to set up ball works good with the Anderson hitch had the wife get into the bedroom and move around reduced the sway in the trailer by 90% before the movement felt like a mild earth quake very happy with the construction of the tripod easy setup and will store easy . Only thing I couldn't figure out is where the lock hooks up on it, the videos online shows how they work on the kingpin version only

by:

Really helps to stabilize the front of our 5th wheel!

by:

If the part that I ordered would have worked i would not had to order this.

by:

If you use an Andersen Hitch for your fifth wheel, you need one of these to help stabilize the front of the camper. My only, minor, complaint is I wish the legs were a little longer. If the pad is slopping to the front of the camper, and you have to raise the nose to level it, you will have to really bring the legs in close so the support is tall enough. But I have only had that problem at one camping site.

After a year I am still satisfied with this product. It really does help stabilize the front of the camper.
