Question:
I HAVE A 5TH. WHEEL SOLITUDE BY GRAND DESIGN , I THOUGHT I HAD A GOOSE NECK BALL, BUT I HAVE A REGULAR 5TH WHEEL HITCH WITHOUT THE BALL. CAN THE BALL BE TAKEN OFF THE UF19950400 STABILIZER AND USED ON MY 5TH WHEEL, OR DO I NEED TO GET ANOTHER TYPE OF STABILIZER WITHOUT THE BALL?

I spoke with my contact at Ultra-Fab and the stabilizer that you will need for your Grand Design Solitude fifth wheel is part # UF19-950001 for steel and part # UF19-950200 for aluminum.
The Ultra-Fab Gooseneck Trailer Tripod Stabilizer, # UF19-950450, is designed for use with a gooseneck trailer and can not be modified to work with a fifth wheel trailer. For that same stabilizer made for a 5th wheel king pin you would use # UF19-950500.
