These soft foam pads with included tie-down straps let you safely transport a stand-up paddleboard, surfboard, or other gear on your roof rack crossbars. Pads simply wrap around crossbars and secure with Velcro closures. Storage bag included.

These pads wrap around most crossbars to provide a resting place for your surfboard, stand-up paddleboard (SUP), or other gear during transport. And tie-downs let you secure your gear to your roof rack.
Wrap the pads around your crossbars and secure them with the Velcro closure strips.
Adjust the closures so that the pads are snug and won't slide on your crossbars. Load your gear on top of the pads.
To secure your gear to your roof rack, thread the tie-down straps beneath the pads and secure them on top of your boards with the cam buckles. Integrated sleeves cover the buckles and protect your board and vehicle from getting scratched, and Velcro strap keepers hold the ends of the straps so they won't flap in the wind.

These pads worked well on our Yakima RailBar Crossbars- Item #Y00448-0449 that we also bought from etrailer around 2020/2021. Not sure if etrailer carries the exact Yakima Crossbars anymore, but think they have a similar model. Both the pads and crossbars work well to haul our kayak on our 2019 Subaru Forester. etrailer's customer service rocks! We had a lot of questions purchasing both items and they were great to talk to!

The product came quickly and was so easy to install on my existing roof rails! It is absolutely perfect to fit many needs above and beyond my kayaks and paddle boards. They look so good on my new 2019 Jag F-Pace I might leave them on all the time.
Combo review - the trailer is PERFECT (MMalone MicroSportXT Trailer - 78" Crossbars - Retractable Tongue). I put it together over several evenings after work. Directions and online videos were helpful - pretty easy build. Have used the trailer several times and am so happy with it. Lightweight, easy to load the boat. I added the kickstand, which is handy for keeping the trailer level and for pushing the trailer around. So happy with this trailer and etrailer.com - very responsive.

Their great, but unfortunately the black canvas coverings have faded and are now light purple, I am going to have to replace them. Is there any warranty offered? I would hate to have to order from [other vendor]. They offer a one year replacement warranty for discoloration in the 1st year. Please let me know!

Love my Rhino Rack Sport Carrier for my 2018 Ford Explorer. Great padding and support for my paddle boards. Velcro runs the length of each pad and really stays in place and snug on my cross bars. Secure fit and comes with tie-down straps. Would purchase again. Thanks etrailer for a great and useful product.
These worked great on our fishing kayak. The are transported bottom up and this kept everything in place, no moving around and no damage. We have this on our roof with the kayak for about 5000 miles. Recommend this for anyone looking to transport a kayak bottom up!

This roof rack system has been wonderful. I wish I had bought it sooner! The install was easy (I am good with tools and I am an engineer for comparison) with full step by step instructions. The fit is perfect and solid. It’s been great for Paddleboards and also my roof top carrier.
Love the Rhino Rack. It took 10 minutes or so to read and understand the installation instructions. A few more minutes to lay out the parts and translate the instructions to three dimensional understanding. Ten more minutes and the install process was complete. A two person installation is best. Use the rack several times each week for surfboard transportation.
This was another fine purchase from etrailer.com. The roof rack fits well and looks great, although I guess I should expect that for its price. Also, I ordered it on June 11 and it arrived on July 5, which was a lot longer than I expected it would take between order and delivery. In any case, I find the etrailer website to be very effective and the selection it offers rather outstanding. I plan to continue to be an etrailer customer.
I couldn't be happier with these roof rack pads & tie downs. The quality is exceptional.
These are still securely on my racks and cushioning my surf boards well. However, they did faded significantly from the sun which is a bummer. I had been parking in a garage. Moved, and had to park outside for 4-6 months until another garage became available. In those winter months where the sun was less strong, the pads faded. All that said, the sun is strong in Southern California.
I plan to use the pads to tie my Hobie kayak to the roof of my van. They appear to be well made and should last for a long time. The straps that are delivered with them are very nice.
I have ordered from etrailers several times. They have always been helpful patient and knowledgeable. I come to them first.
The Rhino Rack pads are very well made and fit securely. Item was in stock and delivery was very quick with excellent customer notifications during transit.
Awesome product. Perfect for my Toyota Highlander for our kayak and paddle board and. Easy to put on and take off and gilded gear even better than I hoped for. I'll be ordering another for my Jeep Cherokee soon. HIGHLY TECOMMENDED.

Theyre great. Faded in color though
Use them to protect kayak while tranporting, work better than pool noodles
Works well. Velcro closure is super strong. Helps to get a tight fit and keep pads in place.
These are nicely padded and allow me to tie on hard and soft boards.
Only came with one key would like to see two keys but product seem top quality

This is working out great for me. I use it when I take my kayak out. I don’t keep it on my car every day, so it was important to me that it can be put on fast and taken off fast which it does great! So I just Velcro it on and I’m good to go! The straps it came with work perfect with my kayak I have a large two person. I would defiantly recommend this and purchase it again
