The Rhino-Rack SUP and Surfboard Pads w/ Tie-Downs for Crossbars part # RRRWP05 is only equipped to carry 1 surfboard. The manufacturer recommends against carrying more than 1 board because they may become unstable and potentially unlatched.
A better option would feature the use of a rooftop surfboard carrier designed to carry 2 surfboards such as the Thule SUP Shuttle Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier with Tie-Downs part # TH811XT. This carrier will accommodate boards up to 34" wide although will require a minimum crossbar spread of 24".
