Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this replacement access door for the Furrion RV tankless water heater. Now, this will replace a worn or damaged large access door for the Furrion tankless water heater on your RV. It works on the water heater part number 405381ET. We do sell that item separately on our website.
Basically, the way this door would work is you just flip up this latch, twist it 90 degrees and it releases it, and the door will come down this far. If you want to totally take the door off, you just lift it off the two pins just like that, then you have full access.Basically, it attaches to these two pins that are on the bottom of the door frame and the spring-loaded latch right at the top to lock it into place. Again, if you just take your door, line it up with the two pins. Once it lines up, then line it up with the latch right up here through the slot. It is spring-loaded, so just pull it, twist it and that'll secure the door.
Then just push that lever down so it doesn't stick out. You can see it is a nice white color.A few measurements on this . The width is going to measure from one end to the other right at 18 and one eight inches wide, and the height from the bottom to the very top, 18 and one eight inches tall. But again, just to show you how it operates, if we flip up on that latch, twist it, it releases the door. Slide the door right off, just like that.
To put it back on, just line the pins up, drop it into place. The latch goes through the slot, twist it and then just flip it down. But that should do it for the review on the replacement access door for the Furrion RV tankless water heater.
After I ordered the wrong size door, I looked to etrailer and they got it out to me in record time. It fits perfectly!
Well built door. Unfortunately it doesn't quite fit my situation properly. But it's close enough till I can figure out what to do with it. The rib that runs down the side of my trailer is in the way.

The door is okay,the water heater that it goes on has never worked correctly
I still have it but went back to a tank water heater
The experience was costly and lesson learned all my phone calls and advise given to me was pretty much useless

Would you be able to say more as to how this door did not work well for you?
I am really happy with the service that I received from E-Trailer. The Furrion tankless water heater works great. I had to have a larger door which was out of stock and was put on a slow boat from China to get to E-trailer who shipped it out immediately to me.
This product has worked well as designed. Bo complains at all.
Needed largest door to fit opening in RV after installing Furrion tankless heater. Specs found on web pages are generally for heater installation, not door coverage. Was sent standard small door with system, had to to reorder and pay for this extra. Be careful
This product works great.Its easy to install.I went camping with it for the first time,set the temperature I liked and never had a problem.It works just like on video.If you're looking to replace your old heater? It's worth checking this tankless out.
They got here very fast and I really liked the quality of the shipping boxes .

I had to do a little modification in my heater opening, but all fits perfectly.
I ordered the wrong door size and e-trailer sent me the correct door in three day's but was unable to return the door that was wrong.
