Need to replace an Atwood 10 gallon water heater with a tankless water heater. Which model will fit the opening of a 16.2 inch by 16.2 inch opening. Is there an adapter kit for those that fit the standard 13 by 13 inch opening?

I recommend getting the Furrion tankless water heater for RVs. It can push up to 144 gallons of hot water per hour.
It has overall dimensions of 12-5/8" wide x 12-5/8" tall x 19-1/4" deep.
There is no trim kit to take up the extra space so you will need to source your own materials to reframe the opening.
The unit does not come with an access door so I linked the 16x16 inch version for you. If you need a different size the others are linked below.
