Hello Huston, thanks for reaching out. Were you wanting to go with another tanked water heater, or did you want to go tankless? We have options for both.
If you want to stick with the tanked unit, we have the Dometic RV Water Heater # DMC33RR which has a 6 gallon tank. It requires a 12-3/4" tall x 12-3/4" wide x 19-7/8" deep cutout so please make sure this will fit in your space. We also have 10 gallon tank options if you want to go larger. Space limitations in mind.
If you want to go tankless, which is what a lot of people are doing, I recommend the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR93FR. This is great because it give hot water on demand, without the limitations of the tank. This is a great option for larger families since you would no longer have to fight over who gets all the hot water lol.
The main thing to keep in mind is the tankless units are generally smaller than the tanked units. For example, the # FR93FR is 12-5/8" wide x 12-5/8" tall x 19-1/4" deep overall, so it would likely require some modification of your cutout to properly house the unit. There are different door size options for this, the largest being the 18" x 18" door part # FR73FR.
What size door does your current water heater use?
Let me know if you have any questions or if there is anything else I can do to help.
