When I installed it went right in no problem. Looks like a good heavy duty rail system. The only thing I would change is the packaging. It’s very hard for a 95lbs Heavy duty rail system to not damage the packing box. Mine was delivered in very bad condition. I think better packing would have been better.

Demco auto slide hitch works very well with my crew cab short bed Ram. Fits under my tonneau cover nicely. Trouble free thus far. Had to purchase a Demco plate for the camper to make the Rhino box hitch work. etrailer personnel were great in helping ensure I had the right products and kept me well informed of shipping dates.

Still working great.
This is an excellent product. It arrived 1 day after ordering it. It had very good instructions that were easy to follow. It only took me 20 minutes to install. It fit tight, but perfectly. It will be the perfect base for the Demco autoslider that I'm going to put on it. I'm using it in my 2018 Ram 2500 Crew cab to pull a Keystone Cougar Half ton fifth wheel.

It works fantastic! Easy to install for towing 5th wheel and then easy to remove to have complete, open bed for hauling.
The bolts have to be loosened in order to get it to line up. Also it seemed bw tweeked because one side I really had to fight with. Demco should look at the packaging for these.

after 1 year, the hitch adapter is still looking good. no paint chipping, no rust. still pulling strong.
It works as advertised. However, it adds bulk / weight but unfortunately it is required because the autoslider hitch I purchased does not come custom all-in-one for my 2020 Ram 3500 OEM puck system.
A BIG THANK YOU to Jenny and her crew at etrailer.com. I had originally bought this puck rail adapter from Amazon and I did not take the poor reviews to heart. My mistake. On a time crunch and missing parts later, I realized I should have gone with etrailer earlier. They are a reputable business and they had AWESOME customer service and fast delivery. Jenny kept me updated on the shipment and even sent a follow email once the adapter showed delivered in their system!!!! I learned my lesson and should have done it right the first time and gone with etrailer (and they had it for the same great price). The adapter was super easy to install. Thanks again, Corey (life long customer from now on).

Ordered with the Demco 16k Hitch. This unit installed in the factory pucks of my Ram 2500 with little fuss. Very happy with eTrailer and Demco.
Included instructions are clear and concise. Adapter is heavy, (85lbs) recommend two people to safely lift into truck bed. Need the following tools for installation: 9/16 socket, ratchet, torque wrench and some type of grease or lubrication for the locking studs. My 20k Pullrite Superslide hitch attached easily to the inner slots.
Fit perfect. Good instructions make it raise to assemble.
ETrailer provides excellent service and advise.
Shipped to a small campground where we installed on a new truck after our old truck died.
Easy to install and adjust
Great product and I'd buy it again. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is due to powder coating inside two of the holes. One I was able to scratch away at with a pick and get the bolt to thread, the other I ended up getting by undoing what I had installed, lifted the thing up, and threaded it in from underneath all the way through to clear it out. I do not have a tap and die set. If you buy this, I'd recommend checking to make sure the bolts go in every hole prior to installing it, to save on time.

It is working just fine. We are very well pleased with it.
Did not line up with pucks in my truck bed and there is no adjustability for fabrication tolerances. I had to enlarge the mounting holes slightly so it would align better and release properly.
It still takes a little wiggling and force to get it to release the pucks.

Ralph,Demco does allow for a bit of back and forth adjustability during the installation of this adapter. The locking socket drivers that attach to the locking tabs on the adapter have elongated holes for fitment purposes. These elongated holes should allow you to install it to align with the factory puck system in your truck bed.Thank you.
Bought this adapter for a new Ram 3500 to use with my DEMCO Autoslde 5th wheel hitch. That hitch was used in an older Ram with above bed standard rails installed. I installed the rail adapter in the puc system with only minor adjustment issues. So far so good. Lifted my DEMCO hitch into my truck and tried to fit in the “standard” rail slots only to find out it didn’t fit. Turns out my DEMCO autoslide is an older model that was built in Canada and the platform is wider than newer DEMCO and other brand hitches. Lesson learned, standard doesn’t always mean standard. Talked to DEMCO rep and was told this adapter was made with only 4 holes on each rail for appearance unlike other above rail systems that have multiple holes to accommodate hitches like my model. Nowhere on this site or the DEMCO site do they state this adapter WILL NOT accept older DEMCO hitches nor do they provide width dimensions for the limited holes in the adapter. Now I’m waiting for my new 5th wheel hitch that will fit this adapter. As you might expect, I’m not a happy camper!

The truck bed rail adapter required moving two of the shims for a proper fit, but this was done fairly quickly. Once the shims were moved, the part fit properly into my truck bed. The next step (adding the Auto Slide 5th Wheel Hitch) into the rail adapter went off without any problems. I would definitely recommend having two people to move the hitch into place, or have an overhead hoist to help to install the hitch. It is heavier than I expected but it fit perfectly into the bed rail adapter.
I have researched purchasing a "Sliding Fifth Wheel" extensively. Researched the few that are on the market. Without a doubt hands down the very best designed & fabricated unit for the job is the "Demco Model #6107 21K Autoslide. The workmanship on design & build is "Impeccable" second to none! Secondly when I decided to purchase this unit I went with "etrailer". Paula at etrailer knew this product "Inside & Out". She answered all my questions and gave additional info on this 5th. wheel. It was delivered exactly when she said it would and it was secured to a wooden pallet and every piece was packed the tightly and shipping foam to protect it. Upon opening all the exterior shipping protection material it looked even better then on the computer screen. I am more then happy with this slider and the personable service Paula and etrailer provided. Thanks Again Paula.
