Like some other posts, followed instructions to the letter and hitch would not drop into rails. Loosened all the rails bolts, mounted hitch, and re-torqued everything. Puck mounting brackets were just off square a bit and twisted the rails when first installed. Either square ‘em up or alter instructions so it goes in first time. Installed in a 2022 Silverado 2500 6’10” bed. Loved the plan, set the rails first time in a few minutes (instead of waiting in a shop for four hours while someone else did the boring and cutting and such). Hitch has been in two other trucks with conventional rails and always fit. Coulda been a five star, but I am familiar with Curt and feel sure they will get it right.

Frist order was wrong. Not a happy camper as I was not able to bring my new fifth wheel home the day of purchase. Talked with Joshua at etrailer, he helped me with a new order, it arrived two days earlier than expected. Assemble was easy. waiting to bring new fifth wheel home. Thanks Joshua

2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty
The holes didn’t line up had to Grid to make bigger and took out the rubber shims. When I watched the video it said the hitch rails would be 2 inches higher than the bed it is 4 inches

I reached out to the manufacturer and they said their product page says the height should be around 2.5 inches. It sounds like your bars were installed upside down or backwards.

Ordered this and got it in pretty fast. Was surprised how heavy it is. Verry well made. Does require assembly of the 8 bolts, but that was easy. Placed it in the truck and made adjustments easily for the right fit. My existing hitch fit right in. I did have to drill out on of the holes a little bit for the pin to go through easier, but I had to do that with my universal rails in my old truck also on one hole.

This adapter came very well packaged. It had metal and heavy cardboard corners and luan plywood side caps to protect the adapter from any damage during shipping. I was impressed with the care of packaging.
The adapter required minimal assembly and was very heavy-duty. I was very pleased with the ease of installation and adjustment with the castle nuts and cotter pins. My Reese R16 5th wheel hitch dropped right in like it was supposed to. Some vertical adjustments were made to lower the hitch plate toward the rail mount in the bed since the adapter raised the whole assembly up about 1-1/2". All in all, am very pleased.

I telephoned or found this adapter speaking to Jessie at 79531. This adapter was just the thing that made my existing rail mounted 5th-wheel hitch fit the puck system in my new truck. after installation, I did have to make a height adjustment on the 5th wheel of the hitch to accommodate the extra height of the adaptor, but once the thing arrived in the mail, it was extra heavy duty, but simple to assemble and mount. This is an excellent product and I would recommend it.

2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500
I was unsure on which hitch adapter would work, especially after reading some of the reviews. I asked the experts, and they assured me it work for my 2022 2500 Silverado. When the Adapter showed up, I failed to read the instructions because there were only 4 parts to assemble. The cross supports have to be installed a certain way based on if you have a GM product or a Ford. Of course, I installed them wrong and when I went to install the rails, the holes wouldn't line up. After a quick glance at the instructions, I figured out what I did did wrong and changed the direction I had the originally installed the cross supports. Had I read the instruction initially, it would have taken a solid 5 minutes to install. After all of that, the Reese 5th wheel hitch dropped into place perfectly and we are ready to roll! Thanks again!

Worked great for my application. Easy install. Does raise the front of the camper somewhat but I can live with it for now. The hitch is already at its lowest point. Thanks for all your help Paul!

It was not really damaged. And all the parts were there. There. Last year I ordered the b&w patriot 18k. And one of those boxes came damaged too. One bolt from the fifth wheel hitch was missing but b&w replaced it. It seems the the shipping carrier is not very carefull with heavy packages. Thanks

Ford F-250 Super Duty
Great product. Bought a new F250 with puck system and this product adapted my hitch to the puck system. I did have to drop the head of my hitch because the adapter raises it 2.5 inches. Feet on my Curt A16 fit right into the rails on adapter.

Great product works well with 2022 Chevy 3500 short bed and curt slider hitch. I was not aware that GM changed the pattern on the puck system from a 2019 to a 2022 and went to install my hitch in the bed of the new pickup. Would not fit! Called etrailer and needed the new adapter for a trip in three days. Andrew in customer service got on it and had my new adapter in my hands in 2 days. Needless to say, the trip was wonderful and the customer service team at etrailer is fantastic.

2017 Ram 2500
I just received my 2024 Chevy 2500 on Thursday 17 th. I assembled the kit within 20 minutes. Fit right into the puck system of my truck. I dropped in my resse 5th wheel hitch without a problem.vi haven't pulled my 5 th wheel yet but I foresee no problem.

Ford F-350 Super Duty
Solid. Super easy to assemble. Fit my F350 puck system with just a few adjustments of the pucks (read directions). Fits my Anderson hitch like a glove. Was glad I didn’t have to buy a new hitch when I purchased my new truck with a factory installed puck system vs “me” installed railed from my last F350.

Incredible fast shipping. Very easy installation. And all went together as it should. Some of the YouTube I seen said bolts were hard to get in place so I was prepared for it but to my delight all fit perfectly and it came mostly built with puck handles already built. All I did was attach cross bars. Very happy with everything so far but haven't towed on it yet.

Fit GM body puck system well. Did not fit the 5th wheel mounts very well. Had to loosen all bolts on 5th wheel itself and some of mounting bracket plus liberal use of pry bar.

There is some assembly required for this unit upon delivery. Instructions were OK and it was fairly easy. Unit appears to work as it should so far. Some of the holes did not line up exactly as they should and I did have to do some work to make that happen.
