Short Length Roof Box with Dual Side Access
Compact and easy to manage, short length roof boxes add space for soft or smaller items without feeling oversized. With dual side access you can load from either side in tight spots, and since these are not considered waterproof, stash must-stay-dry gear in bags before you close the lid.
Expect some assembly; hinges and struts can be tricky at first. Locks can be finicky—close the lid fully, keep gentle pressure on it, and adjust the cover until the key turns and removes. If the lock won't engage, check that the internal links lift clear when the lid closes and that the struts are fully seated on their ball joints.
They are not considered waterproof. They do a great job keeping gear dry, but heavy rain can let in some water. If something must stay dry, put it in plastic bags or a tarp-like liner before loading.
Dual Side Access makes loading and unloading easier from either side of your vehicle. It helps when the box sits higher on an SUV and you don't want to walk around or stretch across the roof. It's also handy at fuel stops or tight parking spots where only one side is accessible.

Set your crossbars in the right place before mounting; the first install may take longer, but removal and reinstallation go faster once dialed in.
