Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Hanging Style
As advertised it fits perfectly
Excellent quality. Easy assembly with clear instructions. Stable attachment to vehicle. The bike(s) are secure on the rack. I do have to remove the front wheel of my bike for transport because it rests too low to the ground. I purchased this bike rack so I can take my bike to different areas of town for my daily ride. I am very pleased with the price, processing and delivery of my purchase from etrailer.com.

Hollywood Racks Express 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Fixed Arms
I give this rack an excellent rating so far. It was easily installed on my 2013 Malibu following the written directions in the box and the video on the website. I have used it once since receiving it a couple of days ago. My bike was quite steady and secure. It is also easy to remove the rack from my car, and I like that I can open my trunk if need be while the rack is attached. I will be using the rack to take two bikes to Florida from Ohio this summer and will update this review after that trip.
I am very impressed. George emailed me when I made my purchase of the Express Bike Rack 2 to thank me. He also said that he expedited the shipping. Before I got home yesterday George informed that my rack had been delivered and if there was anything else he could do. This is the kind of company that makes America GREAT. I will be an ETRAILER CUSTOMER for all my trailer needs. Fast service, quality products, and exceptional customer service.

Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount
As advertised it fits perfectly
Fits pretty well on our 2014 Prius, although it occasionally needs some extra attention to make sure everything's secure - which is no different than any other carriers of this type. The cradles for the top tube of the bike frame are nice. Sometimes the rubber straps that you pull over a post to secure things in place are a little tight, I wish they were stretchier. But they keep things feeling good and secure. Overall it's convenient and sturdy, works with my car, and is a good value!

Thule Hitching Post Pro - Folding Tilting 4 Bike Rack w Anti-Sway - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
Awesome bike rack, no more trunk lid mount rack that I did not like. Thule makes a great product.
It was super easy to install...maybe 10 minutes! Especially good for our 2018 Subaru Outback that has the smaller style hitch. Love it!

Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Using this on our Chevy Malibu and it has been great. Mounts fast, stays tight and removes quickly.
Easy to attach and detach. Holds my bike well. My issue is the provided lock is only good for the mount which typically holds the second bike. If you ride solo, the instructions state to mount the bike closest to the vehicle, which has no provided lock. How they overlooked this is beyond me. 3 stars at best for this major oversight.

Hollywood Racks Baja 3 Bike Carrier - Fixed Arms - Trunk Mount
This rack is quite sturdy. I use it on my Pontiac G6, and it works well, but the supports that go to the bumper are a bit too long; it is near impossible to get the bicycle supports level and be able to use all three of the bike slots. However, I never need to carry more than two bicycles, so I just forgo the use of the slot closest to the car. My only other complaint is that the hooks that go to the bottom of the trunk are making marks on my car's paint. I would recommend having some foam or other padding to place between the trunk surface and the hooks. The rack is very solid and super easy to take on and off the vehicle.
The area where the straps are connected to the rack by metal clips broke. So now when I put the rack in my trunk the straps come off. 4 clips broke

Saris Bones 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Perfect for my needs. I haul two bikes. i use velcro straps to keep the bike from swinging. I recommend this rack. I would buy again
Disappointed in this bikerack. I got it specifically for my Prius, as the curved frame fits over the spoiler. Unfortunately there is no where on the trunk or frame of the card where the side straps can attach. The top strap and bottom ones fit tightly but without the tension of these side straps the bike rack will not stay evenly on the car. Almost lost my bike on several occasions After lots of gerryrigging, I discovered if I quickly slammed the trunk with the side straps hanging loosely in the trunk, I should catch the straps and tighten them. This seems to work. Also no matter how hard I tighten it, the center arm (which lies against the rear window) does not stay in place, but slides off center. The rack works fine, with lots of gerryrigging. But should be easier to use given the price. Also be aware, that if your Prius has a rear view camera, this will have to be disengaged eveeytime you back up with the bike rack and bike in place, or your car will automatically brake if you try to backup.

Rhino-Rack MountainTrail Rooftop Bike Carrier - Fork Mount
Love this bike rack! It fits perfectly with my Rhino Rack Cross Bars. I'm very impressed by the lack of wind noise. With the bike mounted on the rack, you can barely hear the wind noise at 60mph. With the sunroof open you can hear wind noise, but as long as the window is closed, you can only slightly hear anything if the radio is off and you are trying to hear it. Amazing! Can't wait to get more use out of it in the future!
I love this product even after one year! It works perfectly and is so easy to use that even though I only use it every couple months, I remember the steps.
I have used a lot of bike racks and this is the one I keep on my 4Runner. It just works. It is the easiest to take on and off, which is important for me because between me, my wife and kids I have 4 bikes that need to be rearranged often. We also use a roof box, kayak racks and a SUP rack so I am always taking things off and on. The front straps loop over the bar and tightens with an allen key, the back is a couple wing nuts. Since there are 2 straps up front the rack is very stable when a bike is on it. I like that it comes with locks and the skewer is super easy to adjust, clamp and unclamp. If it is cold, dark and damp at 6am and I am tired, late for a ride and still waking up this is the rack I go for because it is easy. There are a couple things to be aware of though... You will need to put a drop of oil in the skewer every 6 months or so to keep it opening and closing smoothly. Otherwise is can stick. Sometimes if the skewer is turned just right there will be a bit of whistle because of a hole in the clamping mechanism. If I turn it to a different angle the whistle stops. And after going through the car wash with the rack on my roof a dozen times or so the black paint began to have a bit of a rainbow sheen. Not sure if it is the bike rack or the soap my car wash uses.

Saris Bones 3 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
WOW... Outstanding product, well-engineered, quality materials, easy to install, works as advertised, and a perfect fit to my 2016 KIA Forte5. Not cheap... but, you get what you pay for... can't imagine a better bike rack out there. Great bike rack!
We have used this a lot, and it performs well. Best thing is that it fits on my Honda CRV and my husband's Toyota Camry, so we can use either car for our bicycle excursions.

Yakima RidgeBack 2 Bike Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
The rack arrived fully assembled and the additional HandCuff Cable Lock was securely packed in the same carton. The installation of the Cable Lock was very simple (watch the Etrailer video concerning the lock -- made things very clear though the printed instruction were easy enough to follow). Installing the rack on my 2017 Ford Edge was extremely simple (again, watch the Etrailer video). The rack slid easily into the hitch and tightened up very snugly. I have not used the bike rack yet for transport, but it appears very sturdy and the clips holding the bike in place are very secure. Etrailer customer service was exceptional and I was very surprised to see the cable lock arrive with the rack since I was originally told it was on backorder.
I like my Yakima. the hitch is tight and secure. I never worry about losing it or the bike. I would purchase another one today if I had the need.
Very happy. when my bike is on the rack, I know it is secure and I dont worry about losing it.

Hollywood Racks Baja 2 Bike Carrier - Fixed Arms - Trunk Mount
Received a severely damaged and poorly taped-up Thule box inside an etrailer.com box. The product was clearly damaged and repackaged before shipping.
This product is excellent and is fairly easy to use. It secures my bikes well and I'm not afraid to drive anywhere on the poor bumpy potholed filled roads of Pennsylvania. My only concern is what do I do when the plastic straps used to hold the bikes wears out? Can I purchase replacement straps?

Curt 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting
The rack carries the bicycle safely and securely, as advertised. However if some other method had been provided instead of pins that must be removed and reinserted to tilt the rack or fold the rack, I would have given the rack a higher rating. The pins work ok, but this feature could have been more user friendly. Also, I was concerned that I could carry my Bike Friday NWT, a bike with a very low crossbar and 20-inch wheels. I submitted the question of fit to etrailer and received a prompt assurance the the rack would work. It does, however the hoops that capture the wheels allow the wheels to settle deeper than if the bike had larger wheel (26" or more). My bike has fenders and I am planning to trim about an inch or so from the rear end of the front fender so that it doesn't hit the hoop. The technical team at etrailer are excellent. I have especially valued their installation videos when purchasing other products. etrailer gets the full 5 stars.
After a lot of research, I purchased this for my 2018 Jeep JL. According to what I read, it would fit my vehicle. I got it assembled and on the hitch. I really liked it. Loaded bikes, perfect. Then came the bad news. I tilted out the bikes to access the back end. It doesn't work. The lower part of the rack interferes with the spare tire and you can only open it a few inches. That was the whole reason I purchased this unit. So now I am stuck with a rack that I will have to completely remove each time I need to access the back end.

Rhino-Rack Hybrid Roof Bike Rack - Wheel Mount - Clamp On - Aluminum
Couldn’t be more satisfied with my decision to go with this bike rack, was on the fence between brands but Rhino Rack makes it beyond easy to use, from installing it on the racks, to daily use is just unbelievably simple! 100% would recommend to anyone looking into bike racks. Also huge selling point for sure is that it covers a very wide range of tire sizes where others are very specific!
I love the racks, instructions were understandable, one of my end caps came in bad, it can wiggle off after locking but I emailed etrailer and they arranged a replacement quick with rhino rack, pretty nice of them, comes with rhino rack decal and just have to decide where to put it, out my bike up and took it for a test drive and it was very nice, I love their package because it comes with locks and way cheaper than the competitors, very satisfied

Yakima FullBack 3 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Using this on our Chevy Malibu and it has been great. Mounts fast, stays tight and removes quickly.
After searching for a bike rack for my 2015 Hyundai Sonata, I settled on the Yakima Fullback 3. I initially wanted a roof rack so I could carry my bikes and kayaks, but my options with the panoramic sunroof were limited and expensive. Part of the Sonata trunk lid is plastic so I was very hesitant to use a trunk mounted rack. It seemed that most Sonata owners were using a trunk mount rack, so I placed my order on a Sunday evening. etrailer shipped it the next day and I received the rack on Thursday. It took about 10 minutes to unpack, read the instructions and install it. I put both my mtb and road bike on and went for a test ride. The rack was more stable than the hitch mounted rack I had on my old vehicle, and the best part was it didn't scratch my paint. It keeps the bike pedals far away from my bumper, and it was one of only a few racks that would clear my factory spoiler. It folds up and I can stick it in my trunk while I ride. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the rack is fairly heavy. It would be nice if Yakima could find a way to lighten it up while keeping the rigidity and price where it is now. Otherwise, I'm completely satisfied with the rack and the service from etrailer.
Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Chevrolet Malibu
Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Malibu we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro 4 Bike Rack, part number TH934XTR. Now, we already have our bike securely mounted to our bike rack, and we're going to have three points of contact. Two on our top cross bar here, and one vertical support back here. Now, the way we're going to take this off is we just have some rubber straps, so we can go ahead and pull our straps off on the top. With all of them removed we can pull our bike off and set it aside. Now, these hold fast cradles as you can see, they have some grooves in there, and that's what's going to hold your bike securely. The one on the vertical support here, this is going to act as an anti-sway cradle, preventing any bike to bike contact.

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Chevrolet Malibu
Zach: Hey everybody, Zach here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Camber on our 2014 Chevrolet Malibu. This will be a four style hanging bike rack that is going to allow you to carry a lot of bikes to the trail, whether it's friends or family. The one thing with hanging style bike racks is I like that it gets us up off the ground a little bit more, and it's a more economical way to carry a lot of bikes wherever we're trying to go.Now, when we are carrying bikes like this, with the hanging style, it's best to not use carbon bikes. So we don't have a carbon bike on here today. So you might want to look into platform style racks if you have a carbon bike.

I'd like to go into one of the best features about this bike rack, is it has the ability to tilt away with bikes loaded so we can gain access to our rear hatch. We'll come down here to this lever, go ahead and pull it towards you, fold it down, and then as promised, we can get access to our rear hatch to remove any cargo, gear, groceries, anything we might have with us on our trip. We've got plenty of room.

Today, on our 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, we're going to be test fitting this Swagman Trail Head 2-Bike Hang Style Rack for 1 1/4" and 2" hitches, part number S63360. Now, on this bike rack, it's secured down in three locations. We've got straps right here, then we've got two more straps over here. We've got one on top here and then one down here on the down tube that serves as our anti-sway strap to help prevent the bike swinging too far the other way and making contact with the other bike or the vehicle. Now, in order to remove the bike, just pull on these straps and you can remove it and set it off to the side. With the bike out of the way, let's take a measurement to see what the total distance added to the vehicle is. It looks like the total distance added to the vehicle is about 23 inches and, on this bike rack, it has a feature where you can fold these arms down. In order to do so, you simply pull the pin and clip out, lift right up here, and then you can rotate it down and replace it in the other hole that's on the bracket. Now, with the arms folded down, let's take that measurement again to see what the total distance added is.

We should have two tabs on the front side of our load bar and one tab on the rear. We'll then tighten the black T-handle to secure it to our rack. With our front secure we can move to the rear. Here we're going to loosen the black T-handle, remove the T-bolt from the slot in the lower portion of our clamp, bring our clamp around our bar, reinsert the T-bolt into the lower portion of our clamp, and tighten down the black T-handle until it's secure. With the rack secure to our vehicle it's now time to load our bike. We'll begin by undoing our rear wheel strap and extending our front wheel cradle all the way out.

We'll then remove the t-bolt from the lower half of the clamp, bring the clamp around our load bar, reinsert the t-bolt, and tighten down the black t-handle until the front of the rack is secured to our bars. We'll then slide forward the black cover and replace our skewer. With our front secure we'll move to the rear and again we're going to loosen the black t-bolt, remove the t-bolt from the lower half of the clamp, bring the clamp around our bar, reinsert the t-bolt in the appropriate slot, and tighten it with the black t-handle. We can then turn the small black lever to tighten it in place. We found that initially it's better to have it straight to get the slack out and then turn it at a 90 degree angle to get some good torque on it. With the front secure we'll now move to the rear. Again, we'll bring the black rubber coated metal strap around the underside of our load bar, fit it back into the foot of the carrier, and then use the black lever to tighten it down. With our rack secured to our vehicle, it's now time to load our bike. We'll begin by undoing our rear wheel strap and loosening our front skewer by turning the knob on the front.

Well allow the attached pin to fall into the pin hole. Well then tighten the black knob to engage our anti-rattle device and further secure our rack to our vehicle. In this position, well have about 13 inches worth of ground clearance here at the rear of the rack, and about 10 inches worth of ground clearance at the base of our shank.
Thule Doubletrack Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2014 Chevrolet Malibu
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, we are going to be test fitting the Thule Double Track, a platform style two bike rack for inch and a quarter and two inch hitches part number TH990XT. To begin our test fit we'll slide the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of our hitch, line up our pinholes, thread in our anti rattle bolt and tighten it down with the wrench. In this position we'll have about nine inches worth of ground clearance. The closest point of the rack to the back of the vehicle is about two and a quarter inches away and overall we've added ten and a quarter inches to the length of the car. With our rack in the stored position we do have limited access to the trunk. However for easier accessibility or larger items we'll simply pull the gray lever located at the base. This will allow us to tilt the rack away from our vehicle. With our rack in this position we'll have about fourteen and a half inches worth of ground clearance here at the rear. The closest point of the rack to the back of our vehicle is now about two and three quarters of an inch away and overall we've added about twenty and a half inches to the length of the Malibu. We are now ready to load our bike.

Well then tighten down all four wing nuts to secure the rack to our front load bar. Here at the rear, well place our U-bolt down through the rack, being sure that it comes out on both sides of our load bar. Well then place the black rubber coated metal plate onto the U-bolt and hold it in place with two wing nuts. Well then tighten these down to secure the rear of our rack. With our rack secure, its now time to load up our bike. Well first undo our wheel straps and make sure that our frame clamp is open.
Swagman Titan Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2014 Chevrolet Malibu
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, were going to be test fitting the Swagman Titan, a tilting four bike rack for inch and a quarter and two inch hitches, part number S63410. To begin our test fit, well slide the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of our hitch, line up our pin holes, thread in our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it down with a wrench. We can then secure it with the provided clip. In this position well have about 12 1/2 inches worth of ground clearance. The closest point of the rack to the back of our vehicles about 9 3/4 of an inch away, and overall weve added about 19 inches to the length of the car. As you can see with the mast in its upright position, we do have access to the trunk, however for larger items or easier access, well pull the black lever located at the base of the mast, and this will allow us to tilt it away from our vehicle. With our mast back in its upright position, well now extend our dual cradle arms. To do this, well pull the black lever located at the top of the mast, swing them into position.
Still performing like new.
