Question:

I originally ordered a hollywood sport rider with center arm but delayed delivery so I am looking at this Saris SA4025F I will have ordered two Ride1up 700 step through models which come with rear racks and fenders front and rear 1. could I use this rack and clamp down on the rear rack and far enough forward on the front to get past fender and still be secure? 2. Do the clamp arms lock as well for security? it appears anyone could press release button to lift arms ...or is the integrated cable the only form of security for the bikes while on the rack? Thank you.

So technically, yes, you can use the Saris SuperClamp EX Bike Rack # SA4025F with your Ride1Up 700 Series electric bikes. It can clamp down on the rear and far enough forward on the front; the clamp arms do not lock for security, however.

Having said that, I really do not recommend using a wheel-mounted rack with your (very nice) bikes that have fenders and a rack. It can potentially damage the rack on your bikes and isn't going to be as secure. Instead, there is a much better option to carry your Ride1Up 700 Series that has the needed weight capacity, security, and mounting style, with the best option being from Thule:
