Question:

Hi there, we have a 2016 Cherolet Malibu and I am looking for a bike rack to carry 3 kids bikes. Since the rack is a fixed width, I wanted to make sure this would be suitable.

The Saris Guardian 3 Bike Carrier # SAR43FR has a fairly wide arm spacing which means it isn't the best option for kid bikes. You would most likely need to use an adapter bar, # 64005, for any of the bikes that won't fit directly. This could be all of the bikes, none of them, or anything in between. It all depends on the bike designs and sizes.

What I recommend is the Saris Bones # SA801BL. With it you can push the arms closer together so it is more likely to fit the bikes and makes it less likely that adapter bars will be required.
