Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
The bike rack is perfect for what I need. It was really easy to assemble and has the functionality I need - being able to tilt and still access my trunk, for example. I've used it regularly over the last year and I haven't had a single problem with it. I'd highly recommend this product for anyone looking for something easy to assemble, durable, and functional.
I have this on my 2021 Subaru Forester and I honestly have to say it's the best bike rack I have ever had! It's crazy easy to use and folds with just a pull of a pin I absolutely love it! Thanks etrailer for another quality product.

all has been good ,well made & easy to install
Easy and excellent to use. Very versatile.

Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Hanging Style
It is a great rack for my 2015 Forester, no problems, however I bought a 2020 Forester and because of the spoiler design on the hatch, the rack does not easily fit. It does not appear that Thule has made a revised design.
Easy to assemble and attach to my 2015 Subaru Forester. I have been very pleased with the purchase. The bikes are fairly easy to load, although I have only had two bikes on at once (adult and teen-sized mountain bikes). Rack is secure when attached to car, as are the bikes to the rack. Longest car trip has been 3.5 hrs...no problems.

Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Went together well, although instructions never mention the washers. Just know there’s a washer on every bolt. My only quibble is with the hitch pin, which is threaded rather than just a slide-thru. That means breaking out a large ratchet wrench to mount or remove each time. I’m assume the threaded bolt is a tighter fit with less wobble, but less convenient.
Great Bike rack. Is very easy to use. It is strong enough to hold the bike and still light enough to remove to when not in use.

The bikes are fairly easy to load, although I have only had two bikes on at once (adult and teen-sized mountain bikes). Rack is secure when attached to car, as are the bikes to the rack. Longest car trip has been 3.5 hrs...no problems.

Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Gunmetal Gray
Rack arrived today. I will not lie, it is heavy and therefore cumbersome to assemble. Despite that, I was able to assemble and install it in just under one hour. I did this on my own, another person would have cut this time in half. The rack checks all the boxes of wants and needs. That same weight noted before makes it rock solid. The anti-rattle feature to tighten the hitch is wonderful. Handle/pedal to change from upright position to bike holding rack to tilt away from my Subaru 2010 Forester was incredibly simple and smooth. I was all set to buy the Thule T2 Pro XT 2 and a friend told me about this Kuat NV 2.0. I am so happy. I knew it was more expensive, but free shipping and price was discounted at checkout when I purchased it from etrailer.com. Great surprise. This rack is well thought out, has superb quality features, and I am convinced that I made the best choice. All things aside, it also really looks nice.
Showed up fast and was easy to assemble. Rock solid product. No wiggle or chatter once installed. 27.5+ MTB fits perfect.

Saris Bones 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Installs easily to the Saris Bones 2 trunk mounted rack and fits well under hatch door of 2016 Subaru Forester. Two concealed steel cables under durable fabric sleeve. Another good recommendation on ertrailer site when purchasing the bike rack.
I like this rack. It's solid, and with a little practice it's reasonably easy to take bikes on and off the rack (and the rack on and off the car). It fits comfortably on my 2012 Subaru Forester.

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
Everything was delivered and worked as advertised. Good job
etrailer has the best pre- and post-sales customer service I've ever seen! I started out not knowing anything about hitch-mounted racks. So I wrote to etrailer telling them about my car and type of hitch I was about to have installed. Samuel wrote back with lots of great information tailored specifically to my car. He even included a photo that looked just like my 2017 white VW GTI with a hitch and rack installed. Okay something of a coincidence. But the rest of the assistance I got from the crew at etrailer was just as prophetic. I went into this a novice and came out knowing lots more about hitches and racks and finding the rack best suited to my situation. I have a small car, a class 1 hitch and a heavy mountain bike. I got exactly what I needed. As to the Swagman rack itself, it works fine. If I had a different situation I would probably buy a platform rack as they are easier to load. There's no reason to buy a bike rack anywhere else.

Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Put this together in about 30 min and looooooooove how easy it is to load 4 bikes!! Two adult bikes(one road) two kids! Incredibly sturdy while driving along the winding mountain roads! If the $1000 racks are easier/better I'd like to know just how much to justify the price!! Super happy with this purchase and the staff at etrailer!
Good rack. Although, it was much heavier then I thought. I was looking for something to put on my wife's car 2-3 times a week, so I can ride home. It's a bit much for daily use, but is very sturdy and great for the long haul.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Subaru Forester
Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer.com. And today we are looking at our Kuat Transfer V2 Single Bike Rack here on our 2015 Subaru Forester. This is a really solid bike rack. If you are looking for something that is actually pretty affordable. And it has all the nice features.
Thule Doubletrack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Subaru Forester
Today on our 2015 Subaru Forester, we have our Thule Doubletrack Platform Style Bike Rack, part number TH990XT. See here that we have one strip on each wheel and we have those in-between the spokes. We'll undo those, we'll pull up on our silver lever here, we'll squeeze our release and pull the strap out of the way. Now because we have these smaller tires on here, we do have our spacer to be able to hold that in place. Come back here, same way on our back wheel. If you do have bigger wheels for mountain bikes, you can always pull this out of the way.
Softride Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Subaru Forester
Today on our 2015 Subaru Forester we're doing a test fit of the Softride Hydraulic Assist Dura tilting 4-bike rack, part number SR26321. This bike rack is designed to work with 1-1/4" and 2" hitches. The main feature I want to show you first is the hydraulic assist. Now if we come to the back here there's a black handle. We're just going to pull out that pin. That will allow us to push our bike and our bike rack away from the vehicle.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Subaru Forester
Today on our 2015 Subaru Forester, we're doing a test fit of the Kuat Transfer 3 Platform Style 3 Bike Rack, part number TS03G. Now the first feature of the rack I want to show you is the tilt-away feature. We come up here, lift that last wheel hook out of the way. We can use our foot to push down that lever and tilt our bike rack away. Now with this rack, we do make contact with the ground here, so you just want to be aware of that whenever you're setting your bike rack down- That you might end up having some scratches on those end caps there. With that tilted out of the way, we have full access to our back hatch here to get anything in or out that we may need. You can step between your rack and your vehicle.
Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Subaru Forester
Day on our 2015 Subaru Forester, we have our Tuly 00:00:04 Roadway Two Bike Rack, part number TH912XTR. We've got three straps holding this in. We've got our anti-sway and our two straps up top. We'll take the two ones off up top and get those out of the way and take this one off last. It's always a good habit to go ahead and put these straps back so they don't get damaged or lost. Let's take some measurements. This adds about 30 inches to the back of our vehicle. We've got a ground clearance of about 10 1/2 inches to the bottom right here and our closest point to the vehicle is about 2 1/2 inches so we're not going to have any problem with our rack hitting our vehicle.
Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Subaru Forester th9031xt
Today on our 2015 Subaru Forester we are test fitting the Thule Vertex Swing, this is a swing-a-way four by crate designed to fold down when not in use part number on it is TH9031XT. First question everybody wants answered is how does the swing-a-way work, it's really easy process. See handle bolt right here, we are going to loosen it up, allow that to tilt down, then we can lift up our black pin here. We will start to rotate this out and away from the vehicle, we can take the time now to pivot this joint till our pin goes back down into our new pin location here. Then we will remove the black pin here on the side, that's going to prevent our bike from going to far when we initially open it up. We can lift that out and set it aside. Continue to swing our rack on out, as you can see we have good clearance there between the rear tire and the side of the vehicle, and then to keep it there we can reinsert our pin that's going to keep it from swinging back toward us.
Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Subaru Forester TH9029XT

Today on our 2015 Subaru Forester, we're going a test fit of the K2 Detail 20x60 folding cargo carrier. Now they've designed this for use in 2" hitches and it's going to carry up to 500 pounds. Part number on it is K2HCC602. Now we've got 100 pounds in here right now. You can kind of see how the carrier kind of moves, kind of shifts a little bit. It's secured with a pin and clip. Thule Big Mouth Roof Bike Racks Review - 2015 Subaru Forester
Today on our 2015 Subaru Forester we're going to be test-fitting the Thule Big Mouth Roof-Mounted Bike Rack, part number TH599XTR. With the Thule Crossroads Roof Rack System already assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test-fit by placing our bike rack directly onto our load bars. Here at the front, we want to go ahead and bring our front clamps around our front bar and we'll get our rear ones set as well. All you've got to do is undo one of the little knobs. We'll loosen up the other one a little bit and we'll make sure that we have each bolt around the rear load bar. Then we can place the plate back into position and hold it down with the wing nuts. We're just going to go ahead and get that snug for a nice little secure fit, then we can move back up to the front of our bike rack. Here, we want to take our clamps and bring them around.
Yakima FrontLoader Roof Bike Racks Review - 2015 Subaru Forester
Today on our 2015 Subaru Forester, we are going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima Front Loader, this is a roof mounted wheel clamp style bike rack, part number on it is Y02103. Now we've already got the Yakima Rail Grab system that we've installed in the Forester here, we'll begin our test fit by just placing the rack right up onto the crossbars here. At the front there is a large black T handle, as that is tighten down, it draws the rear portion of the clamp forward, we'll have, let me show you quickly here, the two outer clamps got to the front, the rear clamp goes to the back and as you tighten it, that comes together. It's really is one of the easiest clamps I think that there is on the market as far as getting the front done, really easy to get on there, wait till it makes contact, give it a couple of good turns and really guys it's all there is to it, nice and secure. Now we can come around to the rear here and we'll clamp the other way or strap other way. As you can see we've got a two piece clamp here, we need to first remove that T bolt, pull that down through the slot, it's going to allow us to separate that lower portion, that will come out completely. This is going to give us one, two and three different positions to start that clamp in with the round bars, I usually use that first one and get this close, as close as we can get to start.
Yakima ForkLift Roof Bike Racks Review - 2015 Subaru Forester
Today on our 2015 Subaru Forester we're going to be doing a test fit on the Yakima ForkLift. This is a roof-mounted fork clamp-style bike rack. Part number on it is Y02098. Now we've already got our Yakima RailGrab roof rack system that we've installed on the Forester, so I'll begin the test fit by just placing the rack right up onto our load bars here, crossbars. We'll now want to remove the skewer from the front. This is reversed threads so you'll want to act as though you're tightening it for it to actually loosen.

These straps are made to fit right up into them here, as you can see. We've then got a single bolt here on the front.
