Hitch Extender For 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver 7"
Allows me to use my back rack and small boat trailer without having to remove the spare tire on my Jeep Wrangler. Works well.
Another good experience with Etrailer. Easy site navigation and prompt delivery. I needed this extender so my 'basket' will clear the spare tire on the back of my Wrangler.. and it does just that. The 7" gives you plenty of room. A 3" would probably be all that's necessary. Also lets me flip up my Thule platform bike rack into the stow position. Two thumbs up!

Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter, 2" or 4" Drop/Rise
Meaty and does the job. With an additional 1-1/2" drop built into my Demco Commander II tow bar, it's a perfect fit to hitch my 2021 Jeep Wrangler to my 2020 Winnebago View. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm hoping to be able to fit a bike rack between the two vehicles.
I purchased this product to add a platform above my tow bar. I flat tow a Jeep Wrangler unlimited behind a Monaco Windsor Motorhome and have no place to carry a spare tire. I will build a tire rack to fit the top receiver. I trust Roadmaster Products. and etrailer.com's price and service is outstanding. Great job etrailer.com

MaxxTow Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter - 2" to 1-1/4" Hitch - 11" Long
Functions as designed: The extension allows my bike rack to clear the rear tire on my Jeep. I added a tightening lock to secure it in place and now have no rattle or shake on the rack. Happy Jeep Owner
This item worked great for my bicycle rack that I installed on my jeep. I have a 2" hitch on my bumper. Needed a 1-1/4" adapter hitch, so my bike rack would fit.

Advantage SportsRack Hitch Extender for 2" Trailer Hitches - 11" Long
This extension works as advertised and allows plenty of clearance from the rear mounted spare tire on my Jeep Wrangler. Please note this product is for use when attaching a bike rack and not for towing trailers and such.

Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter for Tow Bars - 2" Hitches - 2-1/4" Rise/Drop
Beefy. I have no doubts of the capacity of either side of this hitch adapter, there's plenty of weld to hold it all together. Very few options will provide minimal drop (for an off-road trailer) and minimal rise on the other side for an additional bike rack or cargo carrier. Jeeps are tough since you need to be able to open the gate. This one clears no problem. My spare is up on a slant back carrier, but I think the stock spare should clear as well. Get you a "Trimax THC200 Universal Anti-Rattle Clamp Fits 2" Hitch" and this thing is solid as stone.
The hitch has held up over Alaskan roads towing a jeep, but it does not sit level in the receiver so the tiny little bit that it sags is exaggerated when the tow bar is connected. Paint starting to peel with wear after a year.

Titan Hitch Box Extension for 2-1/2" Trailer Hitches, 41" - 48" Long
Just received the 41/48 inch hitch extension today so haven’t actually used it. However, one can tell the high quality by looking at the welds and thick paint coating. This item is extremely heavy. I expected some weight to it, but it surprised me. Also, the tubing has very tight tolerances. I have two ball mounts, neither of which slid into the extension on their own. I had to pound them in and tap them out with a 3 pound hammer. Once paint and labels were scraped away by this action the ball mounts were able to be slid in by hand. This extension will be used on my dually carrying my truck camper. I’ll be towing an aluminum trailer with a Can Am Spyder. Total weight towed will be less than 2000 pounds so I don’t expect the extension to be subjected to any stress.
As per my last 3 orders here are some pictures of how I received the item along with what was broke or bent. I can fix it but I shouldn’t have to. So I will try elsewhere from now on cant deal with your shipping dept , anymore.

Draw-Tite Hitch Extender for 2" Hitch Receivers - 18" Long
Perfect for my application. My rack now clears the spare time on my Jeep Wrangler.
I was surprised by just how solid and heavy it was made. Just what I needed to move my Bobcat UTV hitch back to I can use it as my yard dog to shift my trailers around and not worry about the plastic tailgate nor the plastic bed getting damaged. The hitch sits under the bed and this extends it out so it is useable.

MaxxTow Hitch Extender with Step - 2" Hitches - 13-1/2" Long - 7" x 14" Platform
Works as advertised. I use it full time. I painted the step surface with Herculon bed liner for a rubberized non slip surface, that works even when covered with frost or mud. Only down side, is that it reduces the tongue weight of the truck hitch by 50%. I typically use it to haul a 2 horse trailer. If it ever gets damaged, I will immediately by a replacement.
Affordable front step (wide platform) to service lifted vechicles and will provide distance between exterior mounted spare tire and hitch rack. Suggestion: design the step to fold up or down for a full time install.

Hitch Extender For 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver 14" Long
Very nice, heavy duty extension.
It works great,by moving the trailer back from the vehicle you can load longer items,so there are not hanging over the back of the trailer. It also helps in the backing of the trailer. Thank You

Curt Hitch Extension and Reducer for 2-1/2" Trailer Hitches - 24" to 34" Long
Who do I contact about getting the right extension bar? The one I ordered Is a 2 1/2 inch which I need a 2 inch to slide into my receiver or if you guys have a 10 to 12 inch, 2 inch extension so I can connect it I sent a photo of the end that is 2 1/2 which I need it to be 2 inches to slide into my receiver
Received the product on time and as described however two days later I found it on Amazon for $167 vs the $XXX I paid from etrailer. When I called to see about a price adjustment - they couldn’t assist and offered return and re-purchase from Amazon - minus a $XX return shipping. Lesson learned.

Hitch Adapter 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver - 7" Long
The hitch arrived as promised and is as described. It's just what we were looking for to adapt our bike carrier for use on our new Jeep Wrangler.
Great product. Meet my needs. I used it on my Wife's Jeep Wrangler to extend her bike rack away from the spare tire

Hitch Reducer 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver
This has worked great to reduce my 2" hitch so that I can continue to use my 1 1/4" Thule bike rack, and I like that it doesn't extend out much from the hitch. After my last trip though, the inset separated from the larger piece. I can still use it, but without the smaller piece fixed in place, I can't put it on the car first and then slide the bike rack into it since the smaller piece slides, and it's impossible to line the holes up. It's also rusted more than I expected. It wasn't inexpensive, and I was hoping it would last longer. I've used it for maybe a dozen trips.
Perfect fit BUT the inner tube broke away from the outer tube after about a dozen trips. One small weld on the outside corner is all that holds it on. The small amount of play must have been too much for it. I was even using an anti-rattle lock pin. Very disappointing due to the price point. And now it’s unsafe to use as it could slip right out of the receiver.

Curt Extender for 2" Hitch Receivers -18" Long
Received my 18" extender for my 2" receiver in 3 days. It's going to work perfectly, enabling me to haul bikes with the Thule spare me bike rack at the same time as cargo on a luggage rack at the end of the 18" extender on my Jeep Wrangler. Product is super heavy, therefore, super durable.
I got this hitch extender to put on my camper so that I could mount my bike rack. It worked like a charm!! The bike rack and bike were super solid on the trip cross country!!

Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter, 2 " or 8" Drop/Rise
I need an 8 inch drop between my Itasca motorhome and the Jeep Wrangler I tow behind it. Had a basic Roadmaster drop hitch before I added a bike carrier. Daisy-chained a dual hitch adapter in and was ok going to Florida from New England and back last winter with the two adapters in line together. But heading to Alaska this summer and wasn't comfortable with the extra points of failure. This Roadmaster hitch gives me the drop I need for towing and the second reciever for the bike rack in a single safe package. And kudos to eTraileelr for the very fast shipping. We leave for the great north tomorrow!! .
The Hitch adapter works great. It lined up perfectly with my Jeep Wrangler w/ 4 inch lift. I’ve used it on my Winnebago mainly for long trips and it is a beast! Tows the Jeep easily.

Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter, 2" or 10" Drop/Rise
Excellent service, good prices and super fast shipping. 2 different orders arrived in 2 days! Thanks for everything eTrailer and William!
Well built product and did what I needed it to do. The rise part of the receiver to install a bicycle rack to keep it above my tow vehicle a lifted Jeep Wrangler. The only negative is the receiver tube on the bottom now drops the hitch basically 2 1/2 inches lower and I now drag the receiver on the ground on driveway / street dips. Would have been better if none rise came straight out. I don’t think I would drag then I should have done more measurements

I ordered this adaptor because the 1 5/8" receiver welded to my '99 Jeep Wrangler was useless. Nothing is 1 5/8". Because the Jeep has been on more than it's fair share of truly crappy goat paths, the receiver had been tweaked a bit out of shape, and the adaptor didn't fit. However, a few minutes with a grinding wheel applied to the adaptor remedied the situation. The Brophy adaptor now fits just fine, I can now use 2" hitches, and I am a happy camper.
Thank you for the 1 5/8ths - 2 inch adapter. This product is not easy to find. Shipping was fast, and fits great. Fantastic follow-up all the way from shipping to receiving. Will be shopping with you again.

Hitch Box Extension and Reducer for Titan 2-1/2" Trailer Hitches, 24" - 34" Long
I had to remove burrs from the inside of the tube, both at the holes drilled (for hitch pin) and the end where the ball hitch goes in. The welded boss on the end of the tube had burs left over from the cutoff operation. The ball hitch would only slide in a couple of inches prior to deburring it. Also the packaging was not very good, see pictures. No damage to the product but I am surprised it even stayed in the box during the trip here, it was completely loose in the box and tore it apart during transport.
The product is good the packaging for shipping needs improvement. The box came ripped in half and only the tape on the bottom of the box was holding the box together. The plastic cap for the one end was broken and unusable. The other end had a dent in the metal that had to be filled down to be able to insert it into the receiver. The bracket for the plug extension to mount into the hitch extension was bent together so it had to be bent back straight. This was to be able to insert the plug and line up the 4 holes to be able to mount the receiver plug to the extension.

Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver
Very heavy duty. Will use it with a bike rack I had for another vehicle that had a 2" receiver.
Solidly made. Wish all of these would come with optional locking pins and clamps to minimize movement as I use mine primarily for a bike rack with very nice bikes aboard.

Curt Hitch Extender for 2" Trailer Hitches - 14" Long
The items I ordered will allow me to adapt my utility trailer for transporting my sea kayaks. Curt and Hopkins are both quality manufacturers. On a shipping note, the box arrived at the Post Office broken wide open. Your shipping folks need to wrap small, heavy, items in bubble wrap. Then stabilize it with foam peanuts. Just putting it in a box then stuffing the box with craft paper does not cut it. Items were not damaged so I am good to go.

Curt Hitch Extender for 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receivers - 7" Long
Great product, easy assemble and install, nice finish, works as well as anticipated. Delivery time was good and the tracking very accurate. I used the bike rack on my Jeep Wrangler X because the rack I had that attached to the spare was to heavy for the door when I mounted two bicycles on it. Thanks K
Loved it, worked perfect with my 95 Jepp Wrangler. I am considering about ordering from etrailer in the near future.
Stromberg Carlson Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Jeep Wrangler
Today on our 2014 Jeep Wrangler we're doing a test fit of the Stromberg Carlson 23 by 60 cargo carrier, part number CC-100. It has a 500 pound weight capacity. Now the first thing we're going to do is take a few sets of measurements. The first is going to be our ground clearance. Down here to this bottom bolt we've got about 16-3/4". Overall to the back of the Jeep we're adding about 29-1/2" here.
MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Jeep Wrangler
Today our 2014 Jeep Wrangler we're doing a test fit of the Max Tow 48x21 Cargo carrier. Part number MT70422. Designed to work with 2 inch hitches and have a capacity to hold up to 500 lbs. So the first thing we will do is take a few measurements here. Ground clearance is going to be first. We've got about 18 1/2 inches of clearance. Overall from the back of the Jeep we are adding about 29 1/2 inches there. And our closest point is about 7 inches away. Our spare tire here does hang over just a bit, it's about 3 1/2 inches away or so but with this carrier we can open that back hatch and get anything in or out that we may need just be aware that you won't be able to do that if you have a lot of materials stacked up onto your carrier. Also on our Wrangler we do have a single passenger side exhaust. It comes just about straight out at that carrier there with about 11 1/2 inches between the two so just be careful if you plan on carrying any heat sensitive materials in this region that you might run into a little bit of a problem. This carrier comes with a hitch pin and clip although it does come with it it still allows for a lot of movement and shake. You can purchase an anti-rattle device to slide in there so you won't have as much movement. That's going to complete our look at the Max Tow 48x21 Cargo carrier, part number MT70422 on our 2014 Jeep Wrangler. Let's see how it does on the test course. Here on our test course let's start by running through the slalom.
Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Jeep Wrangler
Today on our 2014 Jeep Wrangler we're doing a test fit of the Let's Go Aero GearCage, part number HCR222. The dimensions are 48 by 32. It has a 300 pound weight capacity. The first thing we're going to do is take a few measurements here. Our ground clearance at the bottom is going to be up to this bolt down here. We're going to have about 17-1/4" of ground clearance.
Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Jeep Wrangler
Presenter: Today on our 2014 Jeep Wrangler, we're doing a test fit of the Curt 20x60 Cargo Carrier, part number C18150. This particular cargo carrier has a capacity to hold up to 500 pounds. The first thing I'll do is take a few measurements. Our ground clearance will be first. Got about 21 inches of ground clearance here. That's because we have that nice raised shank in the back. Which is going to lift that cargo carrier up even higher than your hitch there. Overall to the Jeep, we're adding about 30.25 inches there. Our closest point to our tire is about 1.75 inches. Now with this particular tire that we have here, we are pretty close, but our cargo carrier still does fit.
