Hey Kevin! The Draw-Tite Hitch item # DT66KV is going to sit higher than the Curt Hitch item # C89RV when it is installed on the 2024/2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV. The crosstube mounts behind the rear bumper instead of to the bottom of the frame so the receiver is going to stick out just below the trim.
There will need to be some trimming done to get the receiver of the Draw Tite item # DT66KV to stick through the fascia. I have attached a screen shot from the installation instructions below... view full answer...
Hey Greg, thanks for reaching out to us! Hopefully I can help you get all of this figured out so you can seamlessly keep your refrigerator battery charged up.
It sounds like you're needing the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Trailer Battery Charger # RED36TR which pulls power from your vehicle alternator to charge a separate power bank, but can also have a solar panel connected into it as well. During normal operation this system prioritizes the solar panel power, but then pulls the rest of the... view full answer...
Hello Dan,
We can most definitely get you set up to use your Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty brake controller in your 2022 Toyota Highlander.
Since you were looking at the # ETBC7, I’m assuming your Highlander does not have the factory tow package. To equip your vehicle for a brake controller, you’ll first need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # TK99FR. This is fairly simple to install, with the most challenging part being the removal of some paneling to access... view full answer...
Hey Richard, thanks for reaching out!
Yes, the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember for Standard Frame Hangers # MR33WR can be installed with the Roadmaster Comfort Ride # RM-2460-2570. Just as long as the X-Factor is installed on either of the end hangers as opposed to the middle one.
We actually installed the X-Factor on an RV that had the shocks of the Comfort Ride system already on it, and I'm attaching that photo to this page for your reference.
Let me know if you have any other questions! view full answer...
Hey David, thanks for reaching out!
The closest combination we can get for you is the SmartPlug RV/Marine Data Port Inlet # SM36MJ and then getting the Keystone Single Jack Ethernet Connector # SM38MJ along with the ethernet adapter for your Starlink system.
I haven't seen a direct Starlink connector from the SmartPlug brand, so you might have your brother figure out exactly where and how that was installed if you want his exact setup.
The one nice thing about this ethernet connector... view full answer...
Hey Randy! The etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar item # e38FV does not come in 2-1/2" but I can still make your F-350 happy. A comparable option for a 2-1/2" receiver is the B&W Anti-Rattle Clamp item # BW65FR. This also connects to the lip on the outside of your hitch and tightens down to keep your ball mount from moving around.
I have linked an installation video below so you can see how to get this clamp set up. view full answer...
Hi Keenan; at this time there are no photos available of the Curt # C42ZJ on a 2025 Volkswagen ID Buzz. Since the hitch is a pre-order and hasn't been released yet we haven't had a chance to install one and add our own photos. Curt usually has a photo of the finished installation in their instructions but once again, this is a pre-order so the instructions aren't out yet just like the hitch. view full answer...
Hello Herb, thanks for reaching out. The Furrion Vision S+ Wireless RV Observation System # FR64AD does have a motion detector on the rear camera. You can insert a micro SD memory card in the monitor which allows it to record footage at night. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the motion detector. So it will only come on at night if it detects movement. The instructions are a little vague but it sounds like they want you to wire the rear camera to the nearest 12 volt power source. view full answer...
Hi Cliff; sometimes a wiring harness like the # C44FR still works even without the factory tow package. However, it is required for your 2025 Chevy Equinox EV LT. If you don't have the tow package then your vehicle doesn't have the port to plug in the wiring harness.
What you can use instead is the Tekonsha ZCI # 119250KIT. This is perfect for an EV since it doesn't require splicing. The sensors clamp onto your vehicle wiring to identify the current flowing through the wires and send... view full answer...
We can definitely get you set up. For a 7-way wiring harness for your 2024 Honda Pilot trailsport I recommend the Curt T-Connector # C35ZV which will plug in to the existing tow package connector at the rear your vehicle. I do also recommend getting the # C58000 mounting bracket which will allow you to mount the 7-way plug right next to the hitch.
For a brake controller my recommendation in the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED24FR. The main reason I recommend this one is because it takes... view full answer...
Good morning, Rich. I do have one resource which you should find helpful. I am sorry to say that at this time we do not have any pictures of videos of the Curt # C62ZV hitch being installed on a Cadillac Lyriq. Reason being we have not had this vehicle in at our shop yet, so no chance to actually install one.
The best resource we can provide is the manufacturer instructions for the Curt # C62ZV hitch. I have linked the instructions for you below. They have a few pictures in there, along... view full answer...
Hey Michael. The backup camera that comes with the Furrion Vision S+ System item # FR57AD has built in mounting holes in the casing. It comes with four #6 x 3/4" flat head self-tapping screws, four #4 x 1/4" self-tapping screws, sealant, and insulation tape to complete the installation.
What tow vehicle are you using? view full answer...
I can tell you John, I had the same concern when I installed a receiver on my Acura RDX. While my receiver did not entirely prevent the use of the kick sensor for the hands free liftgate it did limit the area I was able to kick due to the receiver. You will have the same issue on your 2024 Lexus RX 500h. Once you install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C29VV you simply need to test different areas around the receiver to figure out which area works best for the kick sensor.
I do recommend... view full answer...
Hello Tim. Yes, the EcoHitch # EH89CR for the 2023 Toyota Tundra does come with instructions and they have a diagram that will show you exactly where to cut. Sadly, there is no online version of these instructions that I can send you, but they will come with the hitch. view full answer...
Hello Sheldon, thanks for reaching out. The Furrion Chill Cube AC Unit can indeed be added to your camper, and long as your camper has a ducted AC system. If so, you can use the Furrion # FR69TD which comes with the AC unit, distribution box and thermostat.
The unit will need to be installed per the instructions in order for it to function properly. Hooking up just one wire would not work. The video I linked below will show you an example of installation. Feel free to reply below with... view full answer...
Hey Greg, yes the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar # e38FV would stop movement vertically and horizontally. The bolt on the bottom pins it vertically but it also holds it with enough friction to prevent side to side movement. Plus the slot for the gusset of the ball mount accomplishes this too. view full answer...
Hey Jeanie,
The reviews aren't false, the app that allows you to adjust your brake settings on the Curt Echo # C51180 has been having a lot of issues pairing to the phone. With you having the tow package you really should just get a dash mounted brake controller like the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR.
This brake controller has a tiny little control knob to mount to the dash so that you won't have a bulky box to hit you knee on. with the Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness... view full answer...
Hey Rylan,
