Updated 07/02/2025 | Published 04/13/2025

Question:

Looking for a smart plug stainless steel rv through the wall plug in outlet for starlink Gen3 standard cable. My brother had one installed on his trailer. I don’t see Starlink in any of the smart plug options. Do you have this available? Thank you

Hey David, thanks for reaching out!

The closest combination we can get for you is the SmartPlug RV/Marine Data Port Inlet # SM36MJ and then getting the Keystone Single Jack Ethernet Connector # SM38MJ along with the ethernet adapter for your Starlink system.

I haven't seen a direct Starlink connector from the SmartPlug brand, so you might have your brother figure out exactly where and how that was installed if you want his exact setup.

The one nice thing about this ethernet connector is that it is a CAT6 connector so it you won't lose data speed with this setup.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

So the SM38MJ fits into the ethernet aperture in the Smart Plug (SM96MJ) and has two female ethernet connectors that enables you to plug one into the Smart Plug and then connect a second one inside the trailer to run to the router? In other words the part has two female ethernet connectors at both of its ends?

@Jeff Yup! That's exactly how the Plug # SM96MJ and Ethernet Jack # SM38MJ work together.
