Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. This light has a 1,200 raw lumen capacity and produces 640 effective lumens.

Hello neighbors, I'm Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this LED work light. It's a flood beam with 640 lumens, post-mounted and it's a nice aluminum with a black powder coat. So folks, this rectangular work light will provide bright white light for industrial, agricultural and recreational applications. The flood beam is gonna be great for seeing out in front of you and off to both sides. It's got a very, very nice durable surface-mount technology and it's got a nice LED circuit board built into it.
That's gonna help better withstand shock and vibration, but it's also gonna allow for improved heat distribution with the heat fins back here helping dissipate the heat. Now, LEDs make great replacement for incandescent lights because they last up to 50 times longer. They're more proficient, efficient, provide better light and less power usage. There's no bulb to replace, there's no brittle filaments. They're super durable, water-resistant and as I mentioned before, the black powder-coated industrial die-cast aluminum housing is rust-proof.
The lens is a nice tough polycarbonate lens. It's very impact-resistant and it is IP67 rated for protection against dust and moisture so you don't have to worry about dust and moisture getting behind the lens. And it's compatible with 12 volt and 24 volt DC systems. So that's a nice little feature there. It's a very simple install.
It's got a single bolt mounting hardware pedestal, bracket style, and you get all the hardware It's stainless steel and the little Allen wrench or Allen key, whatever you wanna call it, included. Now, the length of the wire here is 16 inches and it's a 16 gauge lead and ground. Now I'm gonna go and hook this up so we can get some power to it and show you how bright it is. All right, so again, keep in mind this is 12 volt. I'll go ahead and flip this guy on.
Okay, so this is with the light's on. Very nice, very bright. You kind of see the output and I'll shut my overhead lights off. There we go. And you can see again, super nice, super bright light And I'll zoom out here so we can see a little better. This again with the lights off. We'll go around here and shine it on the wall so you can kind of see the beam pattern, nice round, and with the lights on. So there you go, folks. That kind of gives you an idea of how bright it is with the lights on and off. And again folks, it's gonna you a nice six and a quarter inch long by one and three 16 tall, two inches thick. Now there are six diodes in the light, and again, the raw output lumens are 1200, while the effective lumen output is 640. Once again, the input voltage is 9 through 36 volts of DC current and you have a lifetime warranty on the LED. So if you ever had a problem if one of these burns out or whenever, just contact the manufacturer and they will take care of that for you. Two are mounted on front support bars on of rol on Bobcat 3400 4x4. It’s on rugged terrain in Llano Tx , lots of shackling and bouncing and don’t have to worry about a light bar getting ripped off from low branches. They provide all the light you need
Worked great as a backup light for my truck. But water leaked into it, and it died. Replaced it with another one that’s Doing just fine so far.

I have been buying and installing LED lights in my vehicles for years now, and it was time to put backup lights in my new custom-made bumper for my truck. I like brands like Rigid, but they are amazingly expensive, so I will never buy them unless I find them used. I compared pricing of these Optronics units with ones on Amazon (Chinese units), and the value of these was better, as this is a brand I'm familiar with. They work nicely, look just as good as others, and are bright enough to light the way behind me. They come with hardware to install in most any application. Very nice!
Awesome product, the backup lights on my Chevy truck were hard to see in the dark. the addition of a pair of these lights wired into the original backup lights really put a new light on the problem.
I bought this light to mount on the rear of my horse trailer , worked great and provides plenty of light . Easy to mount and seams very well built and has a built in heat sink to keep cool.
