Video Transcript for What to Know About the Opti-Brite LED Work Light

Jeff Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Opti-Brite Black Aluminum Square LED Work Light with the flood beam pattern for a quantity of one. Now, this square work light will provide a nice bright white light for industrial, agricultural, and recreational applications. The dimension on the light face itself, the width of it is right at four inches, the overall height of it is about 4 1/4 inches tall. And as I mentioned, this does give off a flood beam, which will illuminate a very wide area. If you noticed on the back, it has the wire, it's a 10 inch long 14-gauge size power and ground wire together, and what I'm gonna do now is hook it up to some 12 volt power just to show you how bright it is.

Once we get that hooked up, we'll go ahead and turn the power on, and then you'll notice how bright that light is. And then what I'm gonna do is go ahead and turn off the overhead lights, and you'll be able to see a pattern it gives off, very wide flood beam pattern and very bright light. So what we're gonna do is go ahead and turn off the power, disconnect it. Now, this does use the durable SMT technology, which is surface-mount technology, and that's the construction of the LED circuit board. This construction will better withstand shock and vibration, allows for improve heat distribution, and they use LEDs on the light, which make great replacements for incandescent lights, mainly 'cause they'll last 50 times longer, they're more efficient 'cause they'll provide brighter light with less power output, and of course, no bulbs to replace or brittle filaments that'll break, and they do offer lifetime warranty on the LEDs.

It is a durable water resistant construction. You can see the housing it's in is a nice black powder coated die-cast aluminum housing, which is very durable and rustproof. Has a tough polycarbonate lens which is impact resistant, and it is IP69K rated, it'll stand up to severe environmental conditions and cleaning methods. This is compatible with 12 volt DC and 24 volt DC system. It's a very easy installation, you can see it's a single bolt pedestal style bracket and the hardware is all included for installation.

The bracket itself you can see is adjustable, so lets you adjust the angle of the light as needed and then you tighten it down, and it is a stainless steel construction on the bracket to help resist corrosion. Few specs on this, it's for a quantity of one light, the light output, the effective lumen output is 2,240 lumens, the raw lumen output, 3,200 lumens, the power draw at 12.8 volts, 2.9 amps, and at 24 volts is 1.5 amps.
