Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. This light has a 2,160 raw lumen capacity and produces 1,492 effective lumens.

Today we're going to review Part Number TLL46FB. This is the Optronics Opti-Brite LED floodlight. This is a 9 diode design in square shape. This LED utility light is perfect for agricultural, industrial, or recreational use. This design is a floodlight design which will illuminate a wide area with light. It has long lasting LEDs which are great replacements for the normal incandescent lights.
The LEDs are more efficient and provide a brighter light with less power draw plus there's no bulbs to replace or no brittle filaments to break. The rectangular face as you can see here adjusts forward and back for easy aiming. The low profile design is for tight spaces. It is a rust proof aluminum housing which is black powder coated. The other nice feature as you can see it's sort of made in a fin design which will help cool the light. Has a nice tough polycarbonate lens which is impact resistant.
It is made of the same material used to make bullet proof glass. The stainless steel pedestal right here is included. And the mounting hardware. They'll all resist corrosion. It is a dual powered design.
It will work with 12-volt and 24-volt DC systems. On the back here you'll notice there is a single wire sheathe that will contain 2 wires: the white ground wire and the black 12 volt lead wire for power. A few dimensions on this. Just going to set it down here. The width on the face here is going to be 5 inches. The height on it is going to be 4 and a half inches tall.
The widest depth on it, the top here is going to be 2 and 3/8 inches. The length on this wire sheathe is about 10 inches. The thicknesses used is an 18 gauge wire. Again it has the 9 diodes as you can see right there. Comes with a 3 year warranty. Now the effective lumen output on this is 1,350 lumens. What I'm going to try to do is hook this up to my 12-volt power to give you an idea of the brightness of it. What we're going to do is we're going to take the 12-volt power, hook that to the black wire, and I'm going to take the white ground wire or the ground wire and hook it to the white wire. What we're going to go ahead and do is turn off the over head lights, and I'm going to try to show you here. I'm going to turn on the power just to give you an idea. There's the brightness. As you can see it's a floodlight design, so it gives you a very wide range of light. Now go ahead and turn the power off. We'll go ahead and turn the overhead lights back on. Disconnect the light. That should do it for the review on Part Number TLL46FB, the Optronics Opti-Brite LED floodlight 9 diode design, square shape. .
