Wiring a trailer usually means tracking down the right wires and making splices, but this harness skips all that. The Curt T-Connector plugs directly into the existing tail light wiring to create a 4-pole flat trailer connector. There’s no wire cutting or guessing—just plug it in and it’s ready to go.
When a vehicle has separate turn and brake light circuits, this harness’s built-in converter takes care of the difference so the trailer lights work correctly. It combines the signals automatically to match a trailer’s shared turn/brake setup, giving you the right lighting every time without extra wiring work.

Easiest piece of assembly. Directions were clear to follow. Took approximately 10 minutes from start to finish which includes tucking the wires under the felt.

I have a 2014 Hyundai Elantra SE, and this set fits perfectly. This installed so easily! This was way quicker and easier than installing the hitch even which is easy of course. Overall, it was a fast and easy installation. I recommend this product.
2014 Elantra hitch, installed perfectly. Was WAY easier then the instructions stated. Besides cutting the beauty cover (plastic), the whole install only took about an hour and fit PERFECTLY. Great product.

Seems very solid and installation took about an hour. Did have to cut a small portion of the heat shield away but that was pretty easy. Although easier with two people I did it by myself so it can be done by yourself. 2016 Hyundai Elantra Sport. I added a Curt bracket for the 4 pin harness for a cleanerlook.

Installation on this wiring harness could not have been any easier. The excellent instructions and video from eTrailer hooked me right up. I was a little hesitant about how it would work since it comes out the trunk when in use. It fits nicely and I have not experienced any issues. I highly recommend this type of wiring harness and eTrailer.
I haven't had a chance to install this yet. Question: There are two tee connectors, one with the yellow wire, and other with no yellow wire. The directions say to plug in the tee with the yellow wire. What is the other tee for or where does it go? Otherwise installation will be very simple. The Curt hitch also was an easy install - your directions were great. It appears to be a very substantial hitch. Your service was outstanding. Thank you. Dave

The yellow T goes behind the driver tail light and picks up the left turn and running light signal. The green T goes behind the passenger tail light and picks up right turn and the brake light signal. See step 5 in the instructions.
Very easy to install. I had some trouble getting it to work at first. I screwed the ground wire to a nut in the trunk that was a ground but not a very good one. This caused some weird light problems that didn't make sense.
Once I switched to the self tapping sheet metal screw provided for the ground wire the problems disappeared. Total install time was less than an hour.

I was disappointed at first!! I had previously ordered light kit before. This set up was different.. but it ended up being better…. I didn’t have to run a positive wire clear to the the battery for this set up which was nice! Definitely recommend getting this etrailer kit for Amy vehicle
