When it comes to a trailer hitch receiver for your 2014 Hyundai Elantra, I recommend going with the Draw-Tite Sportframe, # 24902. This hitch offers a 2,000 lb towing capacity and 200 lbs of tongue weight. One of the perks of the Draw-Tite hitch is that a support strap, like part # 18050, is NOT required on non-trailer loads in order to maintain your warranty.
If you plan on doing any towing with your Elantra, I recommend that you start by checking your owner's manual to determine it's towing capacity. To complete the set-up, you may be interested in Ball Mount, # 3594, Hitch Ball, # 19256 for 1-7/8 inch or # 19258 for 2 inch, and trailer wiring, # C56126.
