Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this hood latch with mounting bracket. This hood latch helps keep your vehicle's hood closed and this is going to be ideal for Jeeps or agricultural vehicles. And the 90 degree mount is going to allow the hook and bracket to be positioned on the same plane. And the steel construction with chrome finish is going to be very durable and it's going to resist corrosion.
And this is going to be a simple bolt-on installation. However, I do wanna make sure that you know that no mounting hardware is included with this, so you would have to pick up the appropriate hardware to mount this that's going to best fit your particular application. Works fine started rusting within weeks. Funny I got this request for rating as I was pondering buying the stainless ones instead. Basically if you don't care how they look in a month, go for it. If you do, buy stainless. Not the cheap chrome plated. Lesson learned.
The shipping was faster than scheduled and the parts appear to be great quality. I will be using these to hold the hood down on this 31 ford

I think it’s BS that it doesn’t come with the latch part.is that why the bag was open so you could remove it and charge extra for it . And 4 work days before it left your place . Won’t buy from you guys again .

I believe you received the wrong part as the latch is supposed to be attached to this item. Customer Service will reach out to you.

Yes, I am sorry as this latch includes only the latch and not the top mounting bracket part # PLR281 nor mounting hardware. I am requesting an update to the product page so it is clearer with what is does not come with.
