Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Headrest Safe. It's a slide car safe in a leatherette light gray color. So folks, if you're constantly traveling with valuables in your vehicles, maybe even a pistol, if you're a concealed carry holder in your location, one of the biggest concerns is keeping those secure without making it obvious that there's something worth stealing inside, right So what do we do We normally put stuff in the glove box, we put it under the seat, and quite frankly, if they're gonna bust out the glass, they're gonna be able to bust into that glove box or under the seat, right, and get stuff out. So that's where this kit comes in.
The slide bundle's designed to give you a discreet organized solution that is secure and built directly into your vehicle's headrest area. So how cool is that, right So these are light gray. Starting off, you're gonna get the headrest here, and right away I do wanna show you, I would put this one on the passenger side.
This is the side that has the safe. It just pops open, it's hidden, and I would put the other one on the driver's side. That way, if you're sitting in the driver's side, you're reaching over to be able to then open this up if need be. That being said, you can put them in however you want to. They're totally universal.
It's totally up to you and what your needs are. As far as opening it, you got three ways. There's a keypad here, you can do a pin code if you want. Once you get it, you can program it. In the event that you have a dead battery, or for some reason you forgot the pin code, you do have keys here.
You can take off some set screws on both sides of this main knob, and that's where the keyhole is to access it. Or you can do the biometrics. (safe beeping) So I just hold on there, and now I can open the safe and I can reach deep inside of here. This is 7 1/2 inches long overall, and on this particular one, I can pull it out, and now I have the safe out. It's padded inside, so it's gonna keep valuables and everything protected. As far as the construction of the headrest and everything, it's just like a normal headrest. It's been built to withstand everything, just like your normal headrest would. I can put it back in, close it up, and I'm ready to go. As far as the base on both of these, you're gonna have adjustable pins. So these pins can slide left or right, wider, closer, and then you can put them to match whatever the footprint is on your vehicle's headrest. So that's pretty neat as well, universal, right So we do have two packs, one for each headrest. These are gonna be plastic spacers. These will slide up underneath these metal pins, and they'll fill in any kind of gaps if you have any on the holes where the old headrest came out. You may not need those. And these do a lot as far as just stiffening it up as well. Most of these are pretty universal. I'd say about 90% of the cars out there use that same size. So you may not need these, but you have them in case you do. And again, there's five sets in each pack. One for each side obviously, and one for each side on the other side. So again, folks, this is also going to help reduce clutter inside of the vehicle because you're gonna be using space that you never had before. And again, it's gonna free up room in those center consoles, glove boxes, et cetera. And maybe you're just throwing passports in here, maybe you're throwing your keys, maybe you just sold something online and you need to go deposit it. Who knows what, right So we all have our reasons why, the reasons aren't important, but that's a good place to store and hide our valuables. Again, we do sell these in multiple colors.
