Looking for a simple way to keep valuables out of sight in your vehicle? This headrest safe replaces your existing headrest with secure, hidden storage that installs quickly and keeps everything protected without taking up extra console space.
When you're making short stops, travel breaks, or running into places where carrying valuables isn't practical, the usual storage spots can leave you wondering what someone would check first. This safe replaces an existing headrest with hidden storage, using automotive-grade components and a charcoal cloth-style vinyl exterior that resembles fabric instead of looking like a hard lockbox. You can secure a full-size pistol, cash, passports, medications, jewelry, or electronics in a low-profile spot that doesn't use console space, then get back in the vehicle and know exactly where your items are.
A long day in and out of the vehicle calls for access that doesn't depend on one entry method working perfectly every time. The biometric locking system gives you fingerprint access, and the steel locking system includes keypad and hard key override access for backup. The biometric system runs on two AAA batteries (not included), so you have multiple ways to open the safe and retrieve what you stored before heading to the next stop.
A loose storage box can slide, get moved, or turn into the first thing someone notices once they look inside the cabin. The seat-locking mechanism secures the safe to the seat, and the heavy-duty steel construction uses an 18-gauge body with a 16-gauge door around the storage compartment. Once installed on the passenger seat, the safe has a fixed location the driver can reach from the front seat, and stored items go back into the same secured spot each time.
When the goal is short-term storage, the compartment needs to fit the item you brought without turning the front cabin into a catch-all. The safe has 6" tall x 3-1/2" wide x 8-1/2" long interior dimensions and can hold a full-size pistol, with padded interior lining to reduce movement and rattling during travel. Your firearm or smaller valuables sit in a defined padded space, and the rest of the cabin stays free of loose items while you drive.
Replacing only one headrest can make the front seats look mismatched, which can draw the eye even when the storage itself is meant to stay subtle. The bundle includes a companion headrest to match the driver seat. The front seats continue to look like they belong together, and the storage location draws less attention when someone looks through the windows.

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at the headrest safe for your cars. So folks, if you've ever had to leave valuables in your vehicle while traveling, camping, running errands, maybe you're at a big concert or something like that, the concern is always the same, right Security, where I put my valuables, I don't wanna take 'em inside, or if I am a concealed carry holder and I'm not allowed to take my concealed carry pistol or whatever into my event, I need to leave it somewhere safe, right Glove boxes are probably one of the number one places that thiefs are gonna look along with center consoles, under seats, those kind of things. And let's be honest, those don't really offer a whole lot of protection. So the Vulcan bundle here, this has been designed to give you more of a secure discreet storage solution inside your vehicle.
So these are gonna replace your headrest and this integrates directly into your headrest area. There's no modifications needed. It's gonna create a hidden storage compartment that's gonna reveal that you're gonna be able to keep your valuables out of play and sight. And the way it's set up is that you have your driver's side and passenger side. Traditionally what you're gonna do with this set is put the hidden safe on the passenger side.
So you just pull down the side flap and now you have access to the safe. That being said, you can put these however you want to in your vehicle. It's totally up to you. It's totally customizable, right So coming over here to the side so we can see that again, it literally is just a strong magnetic hold. Obviously I've got the door unlocked already.
Lemme close this back up real quick. So it's literally just a biometric. Now I can unlock it and get inside or put my valuables and stuff inside of there when I need to. And then I just lock it back up when I'm done. Now I can get in this three ways.
I can do the biometrics like I was just showing you. I can also use the keypad and get that program, I can program it when I get it and set a pin. And the last way is with the included set of keys. Now on this key ring, you're gonna get this little bitty kind of star tool, if you will. On both sides of this knob here are two set screws. You'll remove those two set screws. Behind that knob is where the key entrance is. And then you could use the key, let's say the battery's died or something inside of it, and you need to get in there. That's what you would probably use those keys for. And then again, when it's not in use, it's just a regular headrest safe to use. As you can see from the bottom, these legs when you put 'em on, they are adjustable. So I can make this wide tight however I need to. So this is a universal fit. And then from the inside of the bottom of the safe, you can remove the foam and that's how you'll access the screws that bolt this into place. So that's a pretty nice little setup here. Again, you have the safes hidden inside of the headrests. I switch that back around here and had it backwards. And again, these are safe to use in the vehicles. You do also get with each headrest a pack of these plastic kind of spacers. And if you need 'em, the holes where you remove the old headrest, these will help hide any gaps if there's any. And more importantly, they're gonna give it a snug fit inside of the unit. You're also gonna get this spring loaded keeper here. This is gonna go underneath one of the legs on the headrest with the safe. And basically when you thread that in there and then push it down in the seat cavity, it will pop open, thus eliminating anyone able to be able to pull it out. Now, as far as removing this, if you ever wanna put your regular headrest back in, just follow the instructions that come with it and that'll explain all of that as well. So again, folks, the big advantage here is everything's hidden and it looks super natural inside the vehicle. We offer these in multiple colors. So if this charcoal cloth is not your need, we do carry these in black, some tans, and grays and stuff like that. So again, check 'em all out here separately at etrailer. Folks, that's gonna wrap up our quick look together at this headrest safe option with etrailer. Thanks for watching.

item was easy to install. It was also easy to program the biometric reader and number pad. It looks great and is easy to operate
This headrest safe is a great idea! The spacing between the 2 stems is adjustable so that they can fit into any car's seatback. They come with various sizes of plastic sleeves to slide over the new headrest stems so the new 3/8 inch diameter stems can fill the holes on the seatback snugly. But the whole headrest can be pulled out just like the old one could. That contradicts what the website claimed, that the headrest safe would be "locked in place."
