When you’re carrying serious weight, a solid wheel makes all the difference. This Vesper modular steel wheel measures 16" in diameter by 6" wide and is rated for 3,640 lbs. The premium-grade steel construction, engineered by Maxion Wheels, delivers dependable load support across long hauls and tough terrain.
Rust and chips can ruin a wheel’s look fast, but this one’s built to fight both. The white acrylic enamel finish sits on top of an e-coat primer and zinc phosphate pre-treatment, giving it exceptional protection against chipping and road debris. It’s been tested to perform for more than 1,000 hours in salt spray exposure, so it stays sharp season after season.
Loose lug nuts are a hassle you don’t need. The beveled stud holes on this wheel help it seat tightly against the hub, boosting torque retention and eliminating the need for constant retightening. It’s a small design detail that keeps your setup secure and worry-free on the road.

Getting the right fit is straightforward thanks to precise specs—6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern, 4.25" pilot diameter, and 0 offset. The wheel accepts either 1/2"-20 or 9/16"-18 bolts and even includes a valve stem, so it’s ready to mount up exactly as designed.

1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, I'm gonna take a look at this Vesper 16 inch by six inch white, modular, steel trailer wheel with the six on five and a half inch bolt patterns. Now this is a heavy duty sturdy steel wheel. Has the modular design with a nice white finish. And the modular design is the design that has the round holes that go around the whole wheel. This uses a white acrylic enamel finish on it, helps resist chipping and other damage, better than the powder-coated finishes.
The finish is applied after a zinc phosphate pretreatment, and then it covers a knee coat primer layer. This will give you excellent corrosion resistance with a salt spray rating with more than a thousand hours. This does use the beveled stub holes to help keep the wheels securely in place on your trailer hub. Eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of your lug nuts. If you also notice right over here they do include the valve stem.
It is pre-installed, all ready to go. Now, this does not come with a center cap. If you do want a center cap to finish the look we do sell those separately on our website. You do wanna make sure to get a center cap that'll have a diameter of 4.25 inches, which is the diameter here of the pilot hole. This is where your center cap will come through the wheel.
How this wheel does meet the SAE J1204 standards. Few dimensions on this wheel we're gonna measure for you, is the diameter and the width and the diameter when you measure it is gonna be from inside to inside. So if we take a tape measure and if we put it on inside to inside there, you can see 16 inch diameter and the width on the wheel's gonna be the same way. It's basically inside, inside or bead seat to bead seat. So if we put our ruler on that, six inches wide.
Now this wheel does have a bolt pattern of six on five and a half inches. And if you wanna measure that on a wheel that's an even number of lugs. Like in this case, six, it's pretty easy because your lug holes are directly across from each other. So all you have to do is pick any hole. Let's say this one and measure from the center of this lug hole directly across to the center of the lug hole right across from it. So on this wheel, we'll measure five and a half inches. So this will be a six lug five and a half inch bolt pattern. This does use a real lug size of either half inch by 20 or nine sixteens by 18. And the weight capacity on this wheel is 3,640 pounds. That should do it for the review on this Vesper 16 inch by six inch white, modular, steel trailer wheel with the six on five and a half inch bolt pattern..
