Platinum Plus Warranty with Roadside Assistance

This tire-and-wheel assembly comes with a Platinum Plus warranty that includes complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change out the flat tire with your existing inflated spare tire. The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition to the roadside assistance, this warranty also includes other benefits and services.

Provider Radials with Automotive-Grade Tread

Provider Tread Vs Standard Tread

Unlike standard trailer tire tread, which has solid, continuous ribs, the automotive-grade tread on these Provider radials has ribs with breaks. These breaks allow water to run off to the sides. The Provider tread also has sipes. Siping is a process in which thin grooves (or sipes) are cut into the rubber of the tire. The grooves channel water away from the tread so that the tire makes better contact with the road. Both of these features greatly improve traction during wet, snowy, or icy conditions.

Provider radials are constructed with double polyester cords and double steel belts for increased durability and endurance. A protective layer of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation. Provider radials are bake tested - a process usually reserved for automotive tires - to ensure that the rubber holds up over time.

Steel Lug Nut Inserts

Taskmaster Viking Valhalla Black Spoke Aluminum Wheel with Steel Lug-Nut Inserts

This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.

Match Mounted and Balanced Trailer Tire Assembly

In an ideal world, tire-and-wheel assemblies would be perfectly round and even throughout. Unfortunately tires and wheels have imperfections that often cause vibrations, resulting in a rough ride and wear and tear on the assemblies, as well as on the rest of your trailer's running gear. Taskmaster helps to solve this problem by match mounting and balancing their assemblies so they're ready to roll when they reach your door.

To do this, Taskmaster uses a laser-guided machine to locate the heavy and light spots of each assembly. They then align the assembly so that lightest part of the tire is near the heaviest part of the wheel. The assembly is then rotated at high speeds to pinpoint the optimal place to apply weights to further balance the tire.
Don't delay your adventures by having to take your trailer to the shop for new tires. Start rolling as soon as possible with easy-to-install, fully balanced tire-and-wheel assemblies from Taskmaster.

Radial Tires vs. Bias Tires

Radial tire vs bias tire graphic

Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.

Determining the Bolt Pattern

The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.

Bolt Pattern - Odd

To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)

Bolt Pattern - Even

On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)

Bolt Pattern - Side

Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

  • If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
  • If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
  • If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
  • If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

Awesome tires I put them on our 22' Load Trail tilt deck. We haul our Cat 259D and 305C on it just about every day and I have no complaints. Tread wear so far is not noticeable at all. Rims are holding up great to harsh winters here in Michigan. I have several friends that have purchased same package due to our experience.

Wheels and tires are good. Shipping not so good. They were backordered, Pushed center caps wrapped in 1 layer of bubble wrap into center of wheels and sent UPS with no other means of protection. One center cap missing when arrived. They sent a replacement cap that did not match the other 3.

Katrina B.

I am sorry to hear that you received the wrong center caps. I have sent your information back over to our customer service department for them to get this corrected.

Received tires and rims yesterday, looks beautiful and heavy duty

Tires/rims came on time and undamaged. Installed them on receipt after having them balanced, and have about 2000 miles on them so far on a 18k living quarters horse trailer. So far I'm pleased with the tires/rims.

Bought these tires and wheels after having 4 wheel failures with HWT wheels that were on my 2013 voltage. We’ll see how these hold up. I did buy a spare wheel and tire on our last trip and it did well so we went ahead and bought these

So glad I don't have to go to the tire store!

Once I found a wheel tire combination you had in stock, everything went spot on.

So far so good. No rust on rims and tire are holding up well. Carry heavy loads.

I had to wait about six months for this order to be delivered, but it was due to supply chain issues, something out of etrailers control. Through the entire process etrailer kept me updated with monthly emails.

They emailed me on Monday and let me know the items were in and that I would have them by Wednesday. They were actually delivered on Tuesday.

It was a long wait, but I am very happy with the way etrailer handled everything and I’m very happy with the items I ordered.

These wheels and tires make my 2003 Triton TR-186 look like a brand new boat. Very satisfied with the speed of shipping and engagement by the E-trailer staff to get these to me. Only issue was that I couldn't use the center caps as they are too short for my bearing buddies. I think they look great even without them.

Love the wheel and tire combo and quick shipping. Only issue was they did not come with center caps as stated in the description. However, I was not intending on using the center caps anyway.

Wow, this wheel not only looks great, but you can immediately see how much better quality the tire is than the OEM E-rated tires. I feel much more confident in these tires as I travel with my large Keystone 5th Wheel RV.

Wheels and tires shipped very fast. They were packaged well and no damage. They look awesome and pull very smooth on my boat trailer. I will purchase again when needed.

Excellent wheel and tire set up. Arrived quickly as always from eTrailer. Had them balanced and installed then racked up 10K miles through everything from normal road conditions to snow, ice and slop conditions. These tires are on my cargo trailer mainly used for hauling snowmobiles and motorcycles. I no longer worry about my trailer tires while traveling.

I used these on my shorelander boat trailer that had 14 inch wheels. Worked great plenty of clearance. Very heavy Cobalt 21 ft boat for it's size. Holds the load well.

Love these wheels and tires! Much better than the cheap tires that came on my trailer. Customer service at etrailer is also top notch, I ordered the wrong wheels (my fault not theirs) and they went above and beyond to get me the right set out to me before I left on my trip. I'll be a customer for life.

I've owned it for about a year now, and had no issues. Also those wheels look great on my boat trailer. Definitely would recommend it.

Times and wheels came quick, very happy with them. Any questions you ask, they respond fast to them and Nicely. Overall a great company to deal with. Thanks again.

Bought these to replace my E rated 5 year old tires and rims. Went to G rated w rims combo. Service was fast and communication was great. Super fast shipping. Hope these work well, they look great!

Bought this wheel tire combo to replace non matching wheels on a travel trailer. They showed up fast and look great!

Excellent customer service and speedy delivery wheels arrived well packaged with no damage. These wheels really added a great look to the trailer

perfect condition, very happy with purc hase

  • Does the Provider ST235/85R16 Radial Tire with 16" Viking Aluminum Wheel Have Offset
The majority of trailer wheels have no offset so this is not typically an issue for most. The Provider ST235/85R16 Radial Tire w 16" Viking Aluminum Wheel part # A16RGBML for example that you were looking at which is a great option has no offset so it would work just fine. In regards to measuring offset, this is simply done by measure the distance to the hub face from the center line of the wheel but again not something that is really needed on trailers.

  • Is The Provider A16RGBML Wheel/Tire Combo Balanced
When we receive the # A16RGBML tire/wheel combo, the tire is mounted on the rim but not balanced. We don't balance them because we don't have the equipment here to do so, and because it's not as crucial that trailer wheels/tires be balanced as it is for a passenger vehicle. This is because towed trailers don't have steer or drive axles. If you wished to have them balanced, you could certainly have it done locally but it's not an absolute necessity. Although we do not have tandem wheel kits, we do offer a variety of tire/wheel combinations that you can use for your boat trailer. We do have some tire and wheel combinations that meet your criteria of working for a boat trailer and meeting or exceeding a 12,000 lbs weight capacity, but you will need to make sure that they are compatible with your hubs and any fenders that you might have on your trailer. • Can I Put An Automobile Tire On A Trailer
You should not put a passenger vehicle tire on a trailer. Vehicle tires are not designed for the vertical loads that trailers usually see. Most trailer shops will refuse to install a passenger vehicle tire on a trailer wheel since it is not safe they wouldn't want the liability. I would recommend getting a new trailer tire like The Kenda 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire # AM30660. This tire has a load range C and has a ply rating of 6 and has a maximum load of 990 pounds at 90 psi.
