This Peterson tail light covers six key functions—stop, turn, and tail light plus rear and side reflex reflectors and a side marker—all in one square 5-15/16" x 4-1/2" housing. It meets DOT requirements so you stay compliant while keeping your trailer easy to see from every angle.
Road debris and vibration can be tough on lights, but this one’s made with a sturdy polycarbonate body and a screw-on red lens that stands up to use. The incandescent bulbs are easy to replace if needed, and the housing design includes built-in rear and side reflectors so you don’t have to mount extra reflectors separately.
The light mounts securely using the included studs on a 2" center spacing. Foam gaskets help form a snug, weather-tight seal against the trailer body. That means less time worrying about moisture or loose fittings and more time getting back on the road.
Hooking it up is straightforward thanks to push-in quick-connect wire inserts—no complicated wiring harnesses required. It grounds through the mounting hardware, and two extra ports are available if you ever want to add auxiliary lights later on. These lights are non-submersible. We do indeed have some lights that are submersible, like part # STL008RB.
