This Fusion LED tail light packs 16 diodes into a compact 4-5/16" round housing to deliver bright, even light with low power draw. At 12.8 volts it pulls only 0.265 amps for stop and turn, 0.24 amps for tail, and 0.3 amps for backup. The LEDs last up to 50 times longer than traditional incandescent bulbs and don’t have fragile filaments to break or burn out. That means you get consistent visibility and no more worrying about swapping bulbs after every few trips.
If your trailer ever gets wet, this light is built for it. The lens and housing are sonically sealed into a single waterproof unit, keeping water from leaking inside and damaging the diodes or circuit board. Whether it’s rain, road spray, or full submersion at the ramp, the light stays dry and reliable. That makes it a solid choice for anything exposed to the elements.
Installing this light is straightforward thanks to its recessed-mount design that fits into a 4-1/2" diameter hole. It accepts industry-standard plugs—a 3-prong plug for stop, tail, and turn functions and a 2-prong plug for the backup light—making it simple to wire or replace without splicing. The grommet and hardware are sold separately, so you can pair it with exactly what you need for a snug fit.

Instead of cutting multiple holes or running separate lights, this one compact unit handles stop, tail, turn, and backup duties all at once. The red lens set inside a clear lens gives you both red LEDs for signaling and white LEDs for reversing. It keeps the rear of your trailer neat while meeting DOT compliance for visibility and safety.
The lens and housing are made from tough polycarbonate that resists cracking and fading over time. With a lifetime warranty on the LEDs and a 3-year limited warranty on the housing, this light is designed to stay dependable through years of use in tough environments.

Perfect replacement. As advertised!
5 th. set of lights our Fire Department have purchased, we are very happy with them.
Easy to wire up and to mount, They are very bright and the surface is a Big Plus.
Would recommend these lights to everyone out.
I chose the STL211RCB when I recently rebuilt a small trailer I use for my business. I wanted a fixture with a bright reverse light, while also taking up the least amount of space possible. This fixture exceeded my expectations, and has performed flawlessly since the day I installed them. The previous incandescent fixtures were always needing repair to keep them working. They were mounted low, and hard to see in the daytime. The small footprint of this fixture allowed me to relocate the taillight to a better position, allowing for better visibility, day or night. I would recommend these to anyone that needs to back up a trailer in the dark a lot.
These lights are great. The backup lights work awesome! No more dragging the brake while backing up just to be able to see when I'm backing up.
On a 7 pin round trailer plug connect to the "reverse lights" not the center auxiliary power pin. Connect both of the pigtail grounds up to make them work.
I've bought a trailer hitch and brake, turn signal, taillight and backup light combination flush mount from u guys the trailer hitch mounted perfectly on my ford pickup i put a wooden bed on my pickup and needed some lights for it so i got these lights and super happy with the way they look on my wooden bed installed easily they are nice and bright would recommend your products to other people
WOW!
I recently ordered lights to replace the original lights on my neighbor’s 20 year old DewEze Jay Bed and I couldn’t be happier with the entire process!
Everything arrived quickly and in perfect shape with plenty of cushioning to prevent damage.
The combination tail lights are simply perfect for the application and the reverse lights are BRIGHT!
I actually prefer these surface mounted tail lights over the gasketed style that is currently on my flatbed trailer.
In the future I will be ordering several sets of these to replace the lights on the trailer and for a flatbed that will be going on my own truck, I’m planning on using two sets in the truck’s flatbed with one set on the headache rack using the reverse lights as bed lights, I shouldn’t have any problems seeing stuff on the bed at night.
I bought this set to install on the back of my enclosed overland trailer.
On occasion, i carry a basket in the trailer hitch location and my stock lights get covered. The Fusion LED lights were easy to install, very durable and are super bright. At night you can see them from a great distance!
This is the third boat trailer that I have used these lights on. While the backup lights aren't "daylight" bright they do a pretty good job. (it's my understanding that "back up lights" are regulated as to total light output) If you need more light you could always use a seperate "work light" in addition to your regular stop/turn/tail light assembly. One of the nice things about these lights is that they fit in the standard oval mounting hole as a regular oval tail light assembly. Another is that the "white" LED's turn "red" when the stop or turn function is activated.
I like the fact that I can have (at least a fair amount) of light to aid in backing the trailer at night down those pesky dark boat ramps. They also come in handy to alert others that you are backing up.
As a technical note: the back up light gets it's ground from inside the tail light NOT from the white (ground) wire from the back up light pigtail. I other words, if you apply power to the red wire and ground the white wire.......the backup light WILL NOT ILLUMINATE! That does not mean you have received a bad light from Etrailer. The white wire on the back up light pigtail (2 pin,....1 red and 1 white) IS NOT USED. You must use the white wire from the stop/turn/tail light pigtail (3 pin,...1 red, 1 white, and 1 black) as your ground for the back up light to work. The earlier version of this light had the grounds separated.
Awesome lights, nice and bright. Being able to add reverse lights to my boat trailer is very helpful on dark boat ramps. The Combo light that fits in my existing grommet was nice since there was no room to add an additional light.
Unlike the cheap Amazon LED lights, this one is actually submersible and water tight. Just mount and connect.
I built an off road high clearance rear bumper with tire carrier swing out for my Tacoma. The lights were added to the rear bumper for added safety. The reverse lights work well, and add much needed additional lighting while reversing. I am pleased with the lights, they are high quality, and the lenses are still clear after being exposed to the elements for about a year. I have no problem recommending them or etrailer to anyone.
Good replacement for an existing light on our travel trailer. Trailer was wired for backup lights but none installed. This unit will give me tail, turn, brake and backup lights.
Measurements for mounting holes was exact. Did not have to drill other holes. This is a surface mount. I did have to modify the reflective trim ring that was on my original light for it to fit the new light. The housing on this light was slightly larger but the overall dimensions were the same.
Some grinding on the trim with the drimmel tool solved the problem.
Would be good for initial installation also. Initial installation would require a hole near the center of mount location to allow wiring to pass through trailer. Seems to be a quality product.
Attached photos of lights installed.
I like the looks of them! I hope they last!
The original led tail lights have been replaced twice in 6 years. That’s unexceptable!
Light arrived on time and as described.
ok
Just what my Husband wanted! Thank you
Love them
they work great for the project im buil ding
Item arrived in as described condition, packaged well and order complete. It's going to make a nice finish to my CJ7 project.
Red lights woulda been cooler if they had cane with the grommets but either way they look and work great in my Jeep Tj.
These were a great option for the limited space available on my trailer. I find myself pulling my trailer at night frequently, and I'm not sure how I made it so long without reverse lights.
These lights are awesome. They are brighter than the LED's that where in my truck and the built in back up lights are very bright also. No cutting wires, just plugged them in. I have photos but it won't let me down load them. 5 Stars. I will order from etrailer the next time I need lighting. Thanks again.
I ordered the STL101RB Trailer Tail Light - Stop, Tail, Turn, Backup - LED to replace the standard tail lights on my Yamah Drive G19 golf cart. They replaced to stock ones perfectly as a neat way to add a backup lights for a custom feature. The backups led are actuated by the reverse switch on the dash.
It should be noted that the ground terminal on the two wire pigtail connection is not wired internally to the backup LEDs. They rely on the ground supplied by the three wire pigtail. Not a big deal, but worth noting. It throws a curve when bench testing.
These lamps add a nice custom touch!
These are bright LED lights, and having the LED back-up light in the center makes hookup very easy. The only problem I had was mounting the STL201RB light in the A45GB rubber grommet with the BK45BB mounting bracket. I tried following the etrailer videos with no success--in fact I was pressing on the light so hard in an attempt to insert it in the rubber grommet and mounting bracket that I was afraid I would break the light. So I decided to try a different approach. I mounted the grommet in the bracket (easy part), then immersed that assembly into near boiling water for about 10-15 minutes. This softened the rubber grommet sufficiently such that inserting the LED light into the softened grommet was now very easy. I used heavy gloves while assembling it, and rubbed a bar of hand soap around the inside mounting surface of the grommet just before inserting the LED light. Really worked well---just need to take caution when handling the very hot bracket and grommet assembly right out of the hot water bath. The attached picture shows one of the LED light assemblies, with associated wiring, just prior to checking out the electrical hookups to make sure the wiring was done correctly. The other picture shows the round LED light along with a small red LED side marker light after installation.

These lights are really tough-one of the vertical PVC poles that they were mounted to came out of its holding fixture while on a highway trip-the light and the side marker light were drug along the roadway for about 100 yards before I realized what had happened and stopped. Amazingly, they continued to work great, just banged them up a bit!!! These lights are tough!!
