Today, we're going to review part number STL002AB. This is the Optronics ONE 6" oval LED trailer turn signal parking light with the amber lens. This amber oval light will serve as your parking light and your turn signal. It is a sealed waterproof housing in lens unit. It does use the surface mount technology, and it protects the LED from shock and vibration. Basically, the LED is mounted directly onto the circuit board instead of through holes. This will offer better heat distribution and also thinner construction, and it helps withstand bumps and shaking.
It is a long-lasting LED. It's great replacement for incandescent lights. It lasts about 50 times longer. The other nice thing with the LEDs is there are no bulbs to replace or no brittle filaments that can break, and they are more efficient and provide brighter with less power output. It is a polycarbonate lens and housing. They are sonically sealed and waterproof.
It does use the industry standard 3-prong plug for connecting to your trailer, and it does install with a grommet. Those parts I am going to show you here in a minute. They are listed on this product page for the light as related products. We do sell them separately on our website. Basically, I am going to show you the straight . This first one is the straight 3-wire pigtail plug. It's part number A45PB.
Basically on the very back, you'll see the 3 openings. Just take your straight plug and push it in. There you go. You'll see they call it a straight pigtail because the wire comes straight out from the back of the light. The other option is they do also offer a right angle 3-wire pigtail. It's part number A47PB, and this one when you plug it in, you can see that the wires will come out at a right angle from the light in case you need to have any clearance problems behind your lights. The grommet they use is the rubber grommet, part number A70GB.
Basically, you would just pop your light right into the grommet just like that. Then, this would all install into the separate mounting bracket. Again, this is BK70BB. You can see it's a metal bracket and has the mounting bracket here at the top. Basically, you just pop your grommet with your light in right into the opening of the bracket. Again, those parts are all sold separately on our website. This light is Department of Transportation compliant. It does meet the Federal Motor Vehicle safety standards and the Canada Motor Vehicle safety standards for automotive lighting. I do want to give you some dimensions on this. The overall length, edge to edge, is going to be right at 6-1/2". The height, top to bottom, is 2-5/16", and the depth at the very widest center portion is going to be right at about 1" deep. That does have a lifetime warranty on the LED. Now what I'm going to do is we're going to plug this into a 12-volt power supply just to show you. We're going to take the straight plug and go ahead and plug that in. There we go. With it plugged in, I'm going to plug this into a 12-volt power supply. Again, you will see it's 3 wires. The white wire with the eyelet is for the ground. The red and the black are the power wires. Red would be for your turn signal. Black would be for your parking light. We'll go ahead and hook this up. With it hooked up, I'm going to go ahead and turn off our overhead lights and go ahead and turn on our 12-volt power supply. There you can see the parking light and then your turn signal. The turn signal is very bright. Again, this is the Optronics ONE, which means it's 1 LED in there, a very bright LED. I'll going to go ahead and turn off our power and turn back on our overhead lights. That should do it for the review on part number STL002AB. A basic wiring pigtail that fits the light perfectly and the grommet appears to be made of a good quality rubber. The light is great as well really bright when activated. All of these parts are awesome
Bought to replace existing weathered lights in a heavy trailer. Looked the same as depicted but my frame around lens was metal ,not plastic like the ones I received. I will use them, exact fit, but I doubt they will take the abuse the original did over the years

Used these lights to upgrade to LED on my triple Axel equipment trailer. Lights are nice and bright. Would have given 5 stars except that since I have ordered these lights I have been bombarded with trailer light advertisements that just won't quit.
I replaced the burned out light on the horse trailer. Very easy to install....Pull the old light out of the rubber casing, unplug, and reverse directions for installation....No Tools Needed!!!

Lights worked perfect for my flatbed light upgrade,great price and this company has a nice easy to use website, i only wish they came with a gasket to go between the light and the mounting surface , but with that being said not all builds need to be water tight so i still guve it five stars
Doesn’t come with wiring harness, I was able to find a wiring harness plug that worked on Amazon that was much cheaper than what was quoted from a trailer.
It worked for my burnt out light.I had to adjust some parts of the plug in but fit was perfect and changing to led lights are much brighter.
