This light has a standard 3-prong plug that connects to your vehicle or trailer with a PL-3 pigtail adapter. Pick up the right-angle pigtail (A47PB - sold separately) or the straight pigtail (A45PB - sold separately) if you don't have one already.
This light installs in a grommet (A45GB - sold separately) and requires cutting a hole into your trailer if it doesn't already have one.
If you'd rather not cut a hole in your trailer, you can use an optional mounting bracket (BK45BB - sold separately) instead. You will still need the A45GB grommet.

Today we're going to be reviewing part number ST45AB. This is a sealed 4 inch round amber trailer light from Optronics. The amber round light is going to function as your parking and turn signal light. It's going to feature a sealed water proof housing and lens unit, as well as a heavy duty long life bulb. It's also going to feature a shock proof socket that's going to guarantee a long bulb life. This is an incandescent bulb.
Here on the back of the housing you can see the connection point. This is designed to accept your industry standard 3 prong plug. It will flush mount with a mounting grommet and plug, which are required for complete installation, and they are going to be sold separately. You can find the plug right here at etrader.com with part number A45PB, and you can find the mounting grommet with part number A45GB. The diameter of the light is going to give us a measurement of 4 1/4 of an inch. It's going to give us an overall depth of 2 1/16th of an inch.
We're going to go ahead and connect it to our external power source, that way you can see what it looks like with power running to it, and with our overhead lights turned off. All we have to do is take out 3 prong connection, slide it into the connector there on the back. You can see here that it's going to provide a nice consistent signal. This is going to be for the parking light function, and then when we apply our turn signals, you can see how it's going to become brighter, sending out an even stronger signal. That's going to do it for today's review of part number ST45AB. This is the sealed 4 inch round amber trailer light from Optronics. .

4-1/4" Waterproof, incandescent trailer light acts as a parking light and turn signal and has a shockproof socket. Mounts in a cutout with a grommet (sold separately) and works with 3-prong plugs.I bought these lights a while ago. I had no problems hooking them up. Easy to install. They are very durable and visible for anyone to see as they drive behind you. Really good for trailers or for any purpose. I do recommend these lights because they are very good lights.
