The recessed mount design gives a clean, factory-style look once installed. It fits into a cutout using a grommet (A45GB sold separately) and connects with a standard PL-3 3-prong plug such as the A45PB or A47PB pigtail (sold separately). If you prefer not to cut into a surface, you can use the optional BK45BB mounting bracket along with the same grommet. That flexibility makes installation straightforward for just about any setup.
The tough polycarbonate housing and lens resist impacts and road wear for long life, while the LED design eliminates fragile filaments. It meets DOT and FMVSS 108 requirements, so it delivers dependable performance that stays compliant with lighting regulations everywhere you go.

Today we're going to be reviewing part number STL43AB. This is a sealed 4" round amber trailer light from Optronics. The amber round trailer light is a combination of parking and turn signal indicator. It's going to provide those two functions for you. It's going to feature a sealed, waterproof housing and lens unit with a corrosion-resistant design. It's going to have 10 amber super LED's and it will accept your industry standard three prong plug here at the back of the housing, which makes it really simple to upgrade from incandescent lights. This system is designed to flush mount with a mounting grommet and a three wire pig tail. Those are going to be required for complete installation and they are going to be sold separately.
You can find the grommet right here at etrailer.com with part number A45GB. You can pick up a straight 3 wire plug with part number A45PB or a right angle 3 wire plug with A47PB. We'll go over the dimensions real quick of the light. It's going to give us an overall diameter of 4-5/16" with an overall depth of about 1-15/16". This light is going to draw 0.310 and .046 amps at 12.8 volts. We're going to hook up our 3 wire plug to our external power source, that way you can see what it looks like with power running to the light and with our overhead lights turned off. We're going to go ahead and slide the connection in there.
The light is already going to come with some dielectric grease on the connection points that prevent corrosion. You can see here it's going to send out a nice consistent LED signal. This would be our parking light function. Then when we want to apply our turn signals, all we have to do is activate those and you can see how the light is going to brighten up, sending out an even stronger signal for the turn signal function.
