The grease cap on this hub is specially designed to work with your Dexter E-Z Lube or etrailer Easy Grease axle to make lubricating bearings quick and easy. Just remove the plug on the grease cap, attach a grease gun to the zerk fitting on the end of the spindle, and inject the grease. It will flow easily to both inner and outer bearings. Not only does this make lubricating the bearings easy, but it also helps to prevent corrosion of the hub. This is because you can lubricate the bearings without the mess of taking apart the entire assembly.
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: 8 on 6-1/2 means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: 5 on 4-1/2 means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
Measuring the distance (D) from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.
Fit was exact, good quality work well as replacement for Dexter part.
THE PRODUCT ITSELF IS GOOD, HOWEVER THE SHIPPING QUALITY IS TERRIBLE AND WE CONTINUE TO RECEIVE DAMAGED PRODUCTS.
Great replacement
all in all, I'm satisfied with the product. the bakes do not stop as well as I'd hoped, but it is sufficient. The only hiccup was my own fault for not realizing the installed studs would have been smaller than the ones on my trailer. I changed all studs and kept rolling.
great price on the hub!
Thank you for the excellent service.
Right part excellent service quality pa rts
etrailer sent EVERYTHING that i needed. Received 1 wrong size lug nut. 7 out of 8 is not bad. Shipping was great.
Ordered the wrong Hubs size due to the small print said 9/16 studs instead of 1/2, needed 1/2 inch not sure why the stud size can’t be on the first line, of the items description. I am sure, I am not the only one to make that mistake.
Can’t send them back, because etrailer sent all 6 in the same box. The weight was 120 lbs. what do you think the box looked like after traveling 1200 miles it the back of a truck?? Yes it was destroyed. To my surprise all the hubs still arrived. They had to be rolling around the back of the truck. Since it was sent to Florida some of the hubs had already started to rust, since the thin layer of paint was to thin and no primer was used either. So I painted two of them and greased the bearings installed them on the trailer when i tried to install the brake rotor, i discovered the problem, wrong stud size. SOB.
I have 6 boat anchors now since it will cost another 185$ to sent them back. Plus the cost boxes to get 120 lbs of casted metal back to etrailer. I cannot find heavy boxes in the Florida Keys.
Moral of the story read the fine print, make sure the parts are an exact match. Sending parts back will be very expensive Ordered galvanized hubs from another supplier.
I use these on my log arch. They support the weight of the arch and logs, which weigh between 4,000-7,000 pounds. Usually our log arch is used on uneven terrain which can cause the log to sway and bounce a little when being moved. Occasionally we tow our log arch on the road, up to 40-50 mph. Absolutely zero issues with this product. I will be buying a second set when we build our 4 wheel log arch.

Everything was great. Excellent packaging. A tracking number and shipping notice would have been a nice addition.
Combined with k2r79d and hba16 is the best upgrade ever to a trailer with 7k axele
Exactly what I expected
I think the video link incorrectly describes the outer bearing ID.
Exactly as described. Perfect fit
