Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a quick look at the replacement tall foot extension for the Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier. This is just going to be a single replacement for that piece. It's the, as the name suggests, taller of the two. Typically in your kit you'll get four of these and then four shorter ones, and then you can pair the short ones with the tall ones and get an extra inch of clearance over the top of your bar.

Now with these, you can't really use these with the quick link or the SpeedLink mounting hardware, so this is just for that T-slot application for your Ski Carrier. A lot of times whenever you have those taller bindings you'll need a little bit of extra height, so that's where you would utilize this.As far as the size, just for reference, it's about two and a quarter inch by about two and a quarter inch. Total height is about an inch and a half, but again, this is going to give you just about an inch and about an inch and an eighth of height for your Ski and Snowboard Carrier.
