Today we're gonna take a look at this towing kit with the two inch ball mount and the trailer wiring for your stealth hitches, Hidden Rack Receivers. Now this is a complete towing kit that'll let you use your stealth hitches, hidden rack receiver for towing. And I just wanted to pop up an insert to show you what we're talking about. There's stealth hitches, hidden rack receiver you can see this is the ball mountain ball that goes sticks up in there. Now to make sure this will work on your particular stealth hit receiver, I do recommend that you go to our website, use the fit guide put in your year, make a model vehicle and it'll show you if this will work for your application.
This kit will include everything I got laid out here on the table. It includes the ball mount itself, the two inch hitch ball the two safety chain brackets with the hardware to install them. Comes with the PWM control module with the inline fuse holder. Right here is the four way connector harness with the dust cover that'll plug into your four way does come with all the connectors and the cable ties for installation. And it even gives you a nice set of instructions that'll describe how these parts all go together.
Now this is a detachable ball mount. It's designed to lock into the hitch in place of your receiver attachment. This mount securely attaches to your hitches cross tube to eliminate any rattle and play. This mount here includes this hitch ball to provide the connection point for your trailer's ball coupler. The finish on the mount itself is a nice black powder coat finish on the ball mount and even on the safety chain loops gives you superior rust protection.
Now the four-way flat trailer connector right here this is designed to mount at the back of your vehicle and power your trailer signal lights and it does connect directly to the battery using this pulse with modulation converter box to avoid overloading your vehicle's electrical system. Few specs on the kit, the maximum gross trailer weight is up to 3,500 pounds. Now this is not rated for use with weight distribution systems. The ball mount, again, the ball size is two inches. Now when this is installed into the hitch if you measure from the ground to the top of the ball it's gonna be about 18 inches.
Total length from front to back is about 13 inches. And the length from the center of the ball whole which will be right up here to the where it's inserted into the hitch block, is about 10 inches. The base thickness on this mount is three quarters of an inch, and the ball hole diameter that this hitch ball fits into is a one inch diameter hole.
