6322 Dutton-Lainson 9-1/2" Winch Quick Attach Replacement Handle

Today we're going to be taking a look at part number DL70328. This is the Dutton Lainson replacement winch handle. It's going to measure nine and a half inches long. That measurement's taken from the mount location to the center of the handle. That's where we're going to get our nine and a half inch measurement from. Now this handle is going to use a quick attach function, so this function down here, this mechanism is spring loaded.
Push it in, place it over the connection port on your wench and then let it go, and it's going to hold itself securely in place. It does not require a nut to hold it on. The mechanism includes everything's that needed to hold it onto your winch. This is for use with winches DL1602DD, and DL1700-3500B, and that's also going to include the A models. This handle's going to feature a slight offset. This is going to help clear obstacles and accessories on your trailer.
It's going to feature a nice swivel grip design that rotates freely. It's also got the finger indentions on there so you can get a nice secure and safe grip when operating your winch. Dutton Lainson's going to make this product in the USA. That's going to do it for our review of part number DL70328. This is the Dutton Lainson replacement winch handle.

Lost my crank handle off my witch last year while on the road . A design flaw when the clip fails (spring clip ) is suppose to keep the handle on the witch... I will take off after use now.

Handle is a perfect replacement for my lost Duttson-Lainson 2 speed winch. I purchased 2 handles from etrailer...I'm a fishing guide and winching my boat onto the trailer with an adjustable wrench just isn't cool. But from these guys! Great customer service!

Great no problem
Excellent. Very heavy duty. stout material. Really like the easy, slip-on, no nut needed. Makes it quick and practical to remove the handle when not in use. Using it on a hay bale buggy I bought that had a missing winch handle so needed something pretty strong. Sure beats spinning a crescent wrench round and round like I was doing.

0 issues. Great replacement.
The v-stop, crank and steps are first class, well made and fit perfectly, with good instructions and easy installation.
But the boat guides by Smith were not so good. The metal was galvanized and had a lot of sharp edges. I cleaned up the sharp edges (remember, kids play areound the boat and trailer) and the metal looked cheap that way, so I painted everything.
I suggest that you contact Smith and tell them to add "break all edges" to their manufacturing process, as well as at least add a coat of primer ot the metal.
Overall, I rate the products with 4 stars and the service at etrailer as AWESOME!
Exact replacement for my currently missing handle. And i couldn't believe how fast it came! Very impressed!!!

After being in this industry for 40 years I thought it would be prudent for me to leave a review on this company. It works great. I hope not to lose this replacement.
I have to say I am very pleased with my wench handle after a year. I leave this outside and it still looks like day one. No rust and works beautifully. I also haven't lost it,...but that's my problem.

Ive had this handle now for over a year and still looks great and works as well as new
Arrived as scheduled. Better price & shipping than direct from OEM manufacturer. Problem with these winch handles is they then to fall off on the road if one doesn't either remove or tie down the handle after cranking. This is the 2nd one I've had to replace after forgetting to remove it from the winch & put it in the truck before driving off. Not your fault, but a DL design flaw.
A winch handle is a winch handle.....but it is the price, service and delivery that earned five stars for etrailer.com.
They are very easy to do business with. I needed the handle immediately and paid for overnight shipping. I was skeptical that it would actually come the next day, but I received confirming emails with tracking info within minutes of placing the order, and it was on my doorstep (across the country) at 10:00AM the next morning! Kudos for excellent follow through.

I believe you are referring guy the winch I purchased. Its been excellent. No problems. Needs hardly any maintenance. A little WD-40 now and again. Very well built. I use it commercially as a fishing guide to winch my raft into the trailer.
