Would the Curt hitch also work for the 530e electric hybrid version of the 530 model year 2020?

I checked with our vendors and no one has been able to verify that the hitches for the 2020 BMW 5 series fit the hybrid model 530e. We do have confirmation that the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver item # SH24VR fit the 2018 530e and they are the same model. This hitch installs behind you rear bumper cover by removing the factory bumper beam. So long as you do not have any hybrid related add on parts in this area you should be able to install the Stealth Hitch item # SH24VR but there's no way of knowing if the bolts line up for the Curt item # C11478 until you attempt to install it.

If you plan on towing you'll need the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit item # SH93VR this includes the necessary ball mount and wiring harness. The item # SH24VR is only for bike racks.

Sorry I do not have a more definite answer for you. The manufacturer's have to get ahold of every model car to confirm fitment.
