A lot of people want hitch capability without a big chunk of metal hanging off the back. This hidden rack receiver keeps your vehicle’s lines clean. The cross tube sits behind the bumper, and the 2" receiver detaches when not in use, leaving nothing visible. When it’s off, it looks like there’s no hitch at all—just a smooth, factory finish that doesn’t mess with your vehicle’s style or ground clearance.

When it’s time to carry bikes or a cargo platform, the receiver snaps into place in seconds and locks automatically in the center block. No tools required. When you’re done, unlock and remove the receiver, then plug the opening to keep out dirt and debris. The sturdy stainless steel latching mechanism and integrated lock keep everything secure while you’re on the move.

This hitch is made with durable stainless steel construction that resists corrosion and holds up under load. It’s rated for a maximum tongue weight of 600 lbs—plenty for bike racks and cargo carriers. It meets SAE J684 safety regulations and mounts using existing points, so it protects your vehicle’s crumple zones without any drilling or welding needed.
If you later decide to tow, you can upgrade this rack setup with the Stealth Hitches towing kit (part #391CONVA5). The ball mount from that kit slides into the same center block for towing up to a 6,000 lbs gross trailer weight. It’s an easy way to get extra versatility from the same hidden design.

amazing design
Excellent hitch--fit perfectly on a 2023 BMW 540XI
Instructions were easy to follow, it took about 5 hours to install.
The hitch is hidden, easy to access and works well with an electric bike
carrier.
Working out very well for carrying Thule bike rack and 2 comfort style bikes. Only minor issue is the rubber plug has fallen out a couple of times.
took a few hours and is about medium hardness to install. not bad for an average person with some mechanical ability. I would not do it myself if you are not used to working on vehicles. I have used the hitch several times with no issues. I have a BMW that has a hands free trunk opening and it does not interfere with that operation of the vehicle. The hidden receiver can be a bit difficult to get off as you have to be under the car to release it but again par for the course. If you are looking for a blind hitch as I was this is an excellent option.
